According to Jonathan Howard, the character he plays on Coronation Street, Carl Webster, is fleeing from some hidden truth as he reunites with his half-siblings Kevin (portrayed by Michael Le Vell) and Debbie (played by Sue Devaney).

More recently, Carl has stepped onto the cobblestones to aid Kevin in his battle against prostate cancer, unbeknownst to him, Debbie was undergoing assessments for dementia as well. However, it appears that Carl has personal issues he must tackle too.

In a spur-of-the-moment decision, he leans in for a kiss, leaving me uncertain if it’s the right moment, as I’m unsure if she reciprocates his affection.
