*Warning: Spoilers for Monday 23rd June’s episode of Coronation Street, available now on ITVX.*
In the most recent, intense installment of Coronation Street, character Lauren Bolton (played by Cait Fitton) experiences a harrowing ordeal brought about by drugs.
The story unfolds as Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) decides to host a lively summer soiree in an attempt to break free from his monotonous persona, and before long, the residence is brimming with attendees.
Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) agrees to close down the factory, allowing Carla Connor (Alison King) and Lisa (Vicky Myers) to go out for the evening. However, when she notices Lauren going to the party, Betsy inadvertently forgets to secure Underworld.
It makes Aadi feel angry when Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) mentions their intimate moment, and his anger intensifies further when Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) shows up at his party with LSD.

In a different wording: When instructed to depart, Brody resists strongly. However, after he has left, Aadi divides the drugs among himself, Mollie Gallagher’s character Nina Lucas, and Harriet Bibby’s character Summer Spellman.
However, whenever Aadi needs to attend to something on the upper floor, his glass filled with a mix of lemonade and LSD vanishes, causing him to become frantic about the possibility that someone might have inadvertently consumed the mind-altering substance.
Is it possible that Lauren’s illness stems from the drugs, or could there be another peril looming nearby on Coronation Street? The series has hinted at her becoming ill, and a trailer shows her appearing frightened for her life.
In the upcoming sequences, it appears that Lauren thinks she’s being pursued. To learn more about her fate, you can catch the episode on ITVX or tune in to ITV at 8pm.

Watch closely, as an unexpected twist is on the way!
It’s unclear who may be left for dead as a result of Nina and Summer’s LSD trip, but it’s certain that such an incident will be traumatic for them.
Did one of the girls attack someone in their high state?
As the week progresses, Aadi gets into trouble with Detective Chief Kit Green (played by Jacob Roberts), following a report of illicit substances found at a gathering. The question remains: will Aadi come clean about the situation, and how will Lauren fare in this predicament?
