In the recent installment of Coronation Street, the long-strained bond between Toyah Habeeb, portrayed by Georgia Taylor, and Leanne Battersby, played by Jane Danson, appears irreparable after months of tension.

The story revolved around Nick’s (Ben Price) comeback to the restaurant, and he was eager to discuss the business’ progress with everyone.

However, upon sitting down with his ex-partner Leanne, it became clear that a substantial amount of money was being transferred out of their shared business account without either of them being able to identify who was receiving it.

Upon reaching the Bistro for a casual meeting, Toyah found herself unexpectedly face to face with the police who had come to apprehend her under suspicion that she had taken the money herself.

Initially taken aback by the allegation, Toyah firmly maintained her innocence. However, upon arriving at the police station, she learned she had been tricked, as the officers uncovered that the password, “Rose2001,” was a tribute to her deceased child.

Immediately, Toyah clocked what had happened and worked out her sister was behind the cruel scam.

However, upon visiting the Bistro to address Leanne, Toyah stumbled upon Nick and her sibling in a tight bond, adamant about keeping Toyah at arm’s length from them and their undertakings.

Toyah feigned pain – however, it was just for show, as she was in her hotel room when there came a knock on the door from Nick.

They exchanged a kiss and then discussed their acting abilities, praising each other, before ultimately focusing on Leanne.

Toyah has taken a confrontational stance towards her sister. Is their dispute resolved, or are tensions escalating further?
