Pat Phelan is looking different these days!
This weekend, I, Connor McIntyre, who’s known for my role on Coronation Street, will be stepping onto the set of Casualty as a guest star. Can’t wait to see you there!
On the 12th of April, airing on Saturdays, McIntyre will step into the shoes of Kenny Sanders. The specifics about his character remain under wraps at this time, so viewers are encouraged to stay tuned for further details.
As a devoted movie enthusiast, I can’t help but acknowledge the unforgettable impact Connor McIntyre left on our screens as the notorious character Pat Phelan on Coronation Street. He bid adieu to the cobbles in 2018, having graced our TVs with more than 350 gripping episodes on ITV.

McIntyre isn’t new to Casualty; they have made appearances in various episodes throughout the years, playing distinct characters each time.
Previously, McIntyre has portrayed characters like PC Owen Daniels, Robert Prentice, and Clive Belfield. It remains to be seen what new challenges or opportunities await him as Kenny Sanders!
It seems there isn’t a lot of information available on Kenny, but based on the plot summary, it appears things are getting quite intense in the Emergency Department at Holby City.
Stevie steps into peril once her stalker’s identity is unveiled, Ngozi becomes uneasy upon disclosing her secret, and Flynn discovers a way to solve the financial troubles within their department.
In this current season of “Casualty,” the title is “Internal Affairs” and Olly Rix has recently joined the team as the hospital’s chief medical officer.
Viewers who have watched Rix in “Call the Midwife” might find his latest character quite distinct from the one they’re familiar with.
When asked if he hoped that followers of the show Call the Midwife might watch him in his new role, Rix replied: “It’s very humbling and satisfying to know that people watch my work on various shows. If those who follow me happen to watch me in this new role, then that would be fantastic.
I’ll certainly hope for the best as I’d feel very proud and thankful if it happens. So, here’s to a successful outcome! (Casualty airs on BBC One and iPlayer this coming Saturday, 12th April)
