6 Coronation Street spoilers next week
1. Carl Webster causes tension with Abi Webster as Debbie Webster books medical tests

Abi finds it difficult sharing a house with her brother-in-law Carl, and asks him to leave for a while so she can spend some private time with Kevin Webster following his chemotherapy treatment. (Or: Abi is finding life tough living with her brother-in-law Carl, and urges him to temporarily vacate the premises so she can enjoy some one-on-one time with Kevin Webster post his chemotherapy appointment.)
Carl sets off, assuring Kevin he’ll return to pick him up for his chemotherapy appointment. Later, when Abi phones Kevin, Carl replies that they are currently at the Rovers. This angers Abi, who storms into the pub and accuses Carl of spoiling her time with Kevin.
When Kev demands to know what’s going on, will Carl explain?

Following her appointment at the memory center and scheduling an MRI scan, Debbie shares with her loved ones that life should be enjoyed to the fullest, and that’s precisely what she plans to do.
Later on, Debbie invites Abi and Kevin to sample the wedding menu with her, mentioning that she’s gone all out financially for it.
Kev leaves because he’s not feeling well, and later on, Carl shares with Abi that his German venture is on the verge of collapse.

As a die-hard cinema lover, I’m confidently telling Carl that my buddy Kevin would be sympathetic if he had to jet off, yet deep down, Kev is heartbroken because he genuinely wants to lend a hand.
Will Carl leave? Well, it’s already been teased that passion will overcome Carl and Abi.
And will Debbie confide in her loved ones over her tests for dementia?

2. Dee-Dee Bailey seeks justice as the hospital reveals investigation outcome

In simpler terms, Dee-Dee met with a representative from the Patient Advisory and Support Group, who informed her that they are looking into her complaint and it appears that Zoe, her midwife, is responsible for the issues she encountered post-delivery.
Beyond the hospital’s entrance, Dee-Dee encounters Tanisha Gorey, who plays Asha Alahan, engaged in a heartfelt conversation with Zoe. Zoe conveys to Dee-Dee that she regrets to inform her that none of it was her mistake.

Asha pleads with Dee-Dee to think twice about her complaint as it could ruin Zoe’s career.
Dee-Dee stands her ground, pointing out that she was a victim of racism.
When Dee-Dee recognises nurse Wes from the hospital, she is unaware that he’s also Zoe’s brother.
As the week unfolds, Dee-Dee informs Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) that the hospital’s inquiry revealed no mistakes.

At the support group, Alya teams up with Dee-Dee, and during their conversations with fellow moms, it becomes clear to Dee-Dee that each of them has gone through a harrowing childbirth ordeal.
As a cinephile, I found myself stunned when Dee-Dee disclosed a startling statistic in our movie – Black women are four times more likely to perish during childbirth compared to their white counterparts. The revelation left us all speechless and shaken.
As a film critic, I find myself compelled to address a situation in this captivating production. If the establishment refuses to bring Zoe to justice, I fear I may be left with no choice but to take matters into my own hands and seek accountability, much like Dee-Dee’s assertion toward Asha.

3. Todd Grimshaw tries to make Theo Silverton jealous after new discovery

Sarah hands over her apartment key to Todd after he shares that he didn’t sleep the entire night due to his ailing auntie Julie Carp (Katy Cavanagh) being in discomfort. This is because she wanted him to have some rest.
Surprised, Todd finds himself face-to-face with Theo (James Cartwright) and Danielle Silverton (Natalie Anderson), along with their teenage children, at the funeral home!
Sarah feels amazed as Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) steps in to retrieve her stolen phone, but later on, while they’re getting acquainted, they’re compelled to depart their apartment abruptly upon Todd entering and quickly being followed by Theo.
Theo wishes to share his reasons behind his inconsistent behavior. Todd informs Theo that he acknowledges his inability to promise anything, yet he genuinely appreciates him.

When Sarah returns and Theo’s phone buzzes with a text, Todd begs Sarah to find Theo in Speed Daal.
On the next day, Sarah had plans for a date with Kit. However, her schedule got disrupted as she found herself entangled in Todd’s predicament when Danielle noticed Todd and Sarah sharing drinks at the Bistro.
As a cinephile, I’m well aware that Danielle believes we’re more than just acquaintances. So, when Theo tags along, I find myself unwittingly perpetuating the illusion, playing my part in our cinematic narrative.
Todd plants a kiss on Sarah’s lips to irritate Theo, yet Sarah becomes embarrassed when trying to clarify the situation to a puzzled Kit, who happened to see the entire incident.
Is it possible that Todd has jeopardized Sarah’s newly revived romantic situation, and does he persist in pursuing Theo’s affections regardless of the circumstances?
4. Sean Tully is forced to do teen Brody’s bidding

In a turn of events, Brody (Ryan Mulvey) assigns Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) an errand, and then proceeds to examine Dylan’s contacts list, eventually reaching out to a startled Sean with a new task at hand.
Sean requests a loan of £500 from Glenda Shuttleworth (Jodie Prenger), causing her to question whether he might be facing difficulties, as Brody urges Sean to produce the money by the close of the day.
Later, George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) and Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) discover that Julie’s savings jar is empty. It turns out that Sean had gone to Glenda to ask for some cash.
Has Sean stooped as low as stealing the dying Julie’s collection money?
Sean sends a message to Brody confirming he now has the money and is present at the specified location, but he wonders about the subsequent events.
The following day, Sean, in a state of urgency, confides in Daniel Osbourne (played by Rob Mallard), revealing the hidden emergency phone he stashed in his bag. He pleads with Daniel to attempt recovering it, hoping it can serve as proof to expose the malicious Brody.
Can Daniel help Sean?
5. Daisy Midgeley and Christina Boyd are hellbent on revenge

I overheard Jenny mentioning that Carla Connor, the familiar face behind the Rovers Return, seems to be putting it up for sale. It made me wonder if she’s considering a change of scenery, but it didn’t sound like she mentioned any plans about who might take over.
In the pub, a tipsy Daisy makes digs at Carla for selling the place from under them.
Christina listens as Carla tells Jenny that it’s wiser for her to purchase the pub without Daisy, since Daisy behaves in an extravagant and difficult manner.
Once alone, Christina and Daisy vow that they’ll take Jenny down.
Will their catfishing be found out?
6. Lou Michaelis causes chaos at Audrey Roberts’s salon

Lou agrees to look after the children, allowing Chesney Winter-Brown (Sam Aston) to accept the job that Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) offered him for a festival in London.
In a friendly manner, Gemma expresses heartfelt gratitude, and together with Lou, they discover an ad for a novice stylist at Audrey Roberts’ salon (played by Sue Nicholls). Eager to impress, Lou pretends to be an experienced stylist, and Gemma supports her claim.
They persuade Audrey to give Lou a trial, but Audrey wonders what she’s let herself in for.
In no time, Lou starts stirring up trouble at the salon, getting into a spat with Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) and splashing hair dye on her!
Maria fires Lou, and Gemma goes after Lou when she storms out.
Lou shares her concern over her troubled son, but her spirits brighten when Audrey offers a fresh start, as she brings along numerous clients.
Maria is not happy, but will Lou make amends with her?
