The follow-up to the side-scroller shoot ’em up game, “Cotton Reboot!”, has been painstakingly designed and built anew.

In the “Cotton” series, willows usually play a significant role, but in this instance, they’ve transformed into something ominous, causing turmoil within the fairy realm. In this bizarre journey, Cotton, Silk, and a fresh character named Macaron are teaming up.

The experience of playing becomes even more exhilarating, featuring stunning visuals and potent fresh magic. Moreover, gathering specific items will propel you into “Over Tension,” unveiling an unprecedented level of intensity that has yet to appear in this franchise.

In addition to bringing back beloved spells such as “Fire Dragon” and “Lightning,” this game presents a novel combat mechanism known as “Enemy Capture.” This feature allows you to utilize enemies themselves to aid in completing each level. The popular “Fever” system from the previous title has been elevated and rebranded as the thrilling “Willow Fever,” offering an even more exhilarating experience.

Once your meter hits 100%, “Overcharge” mode kicks in, multiplying your points by two. The adversaries will intensify their assaults, but you’ll have access to potent concealed magic that can substantially increase your total points. Strive for a top-tier score!

Hiroyuki Kawada, a renowned composer previously at Namco (famous for creating scores like “Valkyrie no Bouken” and “Youkai Douchuki”), and the chiptune band YMCK are crafting the game’s soundtrack. The musical experience of this game will undoubtedly be enhanced by these talented composers.
