This series focuses on Victor von Doom acquiring Stark Technology and transforming into his own unique version of the Invincible Iron Man from Latveria. Unlike the traditional red and gold armor, Doom’s adaptation features sleek silver with green accents and his signature green hood.
The series ended up running for 12 issues.
Will Robert Downey Jr. return to the MCU?
Despite claims that Downey may have left behind the character of Tony Stark after portraying him for close to twenty years, Downey himself has expressed a willingness to reprise the role if the plot calls for it.
The actor expressed his joy and strong connection to the role of Iron Man during an interview with Esquire this year. He often states, “You can never underestimate Kevin Feige. It’s a risky wager every time. He’s the casino. He’ll come out on top each time.”
The upcoming Avengers films, specifically Avengers 5, are planned to hit theaters on May 1, 2026, while Avengers: Secret Wars are set for a release on May 7, 2027.
