Craig Conover Shares Update on Paige DeSorbo After Scary Panic Attack

As a seasoned web observer with years of scrolling and clicking under my belt, I must say, that image gallery you’ve got there is quite a spectacle! It’s like a who’s who of rising stars in the entertainment world, all neatly lined up for our viewing pleasure.

Craig Conover is charmed by Paige DeSorbo‘s vulnerability.

As a connoisseur of all things lifestyle-related, let me share an update I’ve received about the wellbeing of the Southern Charm star’s significant other. Following his recent disclosure that she had her initial encounter with a panic attack, I am pleased to report that she is currently taking steps towards recovery and healing.

At a work gathering in Missouri, my phone suddenly rang. My partner was on the line, distressed and having a panic attack. I managed to assist her through it since I answered the call. I shared this experience with Keltie Knight during the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards, explaining that it was a frightening situation for everyone involved because I wasn’t physically present to offer support, but she showed immense courage and persevered.

Craig commended Paige for openly discussing her experiences with fellow host Hannah Berner and their audience during the live recording of their Giggly Squad podcast.

He stated that on that particular evening at the show, she openly disclosed everything to her audience, and it turned out that as people become more open about their experiences, others often respond with empathy, saying “That’s me, too.

At the moment, Paige is trying to understand the cause of her panic attack and maybe identify any factors that led to her challenging situation.

Craig explained, “She’s suddenly encountered something that has her puzzled, so she’s exploring it. She’s inviting all of us along on this adventure, and I wish her success in offering assistance to others.

Two days following Paige’s reveal on the September 24th episode of Giggly Squad, where she spoke candidly about her recent backstage ordeal prior to performing live, the founder of Sewing Down South expressed their support.

The star of Summer House admitted, “I experienced my initial, genuine, intense bout of anxiety.” They added, “It’s fascinating how anxiety works; you never truly know its cause.

She explained, “With 3000 pairs of eyes watching me, it might seem like stage fright. But with over fifty past performances under my belt, that’s not quite the case here. For six years, I’ve been a reality TV star, so there isn’t much left to unsettle me at this point. I was also feeling somewhat agitated because I found myself questioning, ‘What’s happening to my body?’

As a devoted follower, I’ve always been open about my history with generalized anxiety. However, I must confess that I hadn’t experienced panic attacks in the manner people often describe them. To clarify, prior to this, I had never taken medication for anxiety.

She stated, “I used to think, ‘I’m more resilient than this. It’s all in my mind. I have the strength to tell myself to shake it off,’ but it didn’t work for me. Acknowledging this to oneself is an essential step in overcoming.

Paige attributed her relief from the bodily symptoms during her panic attack to using a beta blocker, which eventually allowed her to perform confidently on stage for the Giggly Squad live performance.

She clarified, “I hadn’t anticipated this situation, but since it’s part of my responsibilities, I’m confident I can handle it. Clearly, it’s an occurrence that I must navigate and understand better.

During the tough situation, the Amazon Live host took care to express gratitude towards her audience for their kind gestures – sending tips and encouraging messages.

“I’m so thankful to the other Gigglers,” she gushed. “Because I did feel less alone.”

Though I wasn’t fortunate enough to attend the PCCAs alongside Craig this year, it was still a star-studded event! Stay tuned as we delve into more highlights from the 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards.
