As a lifelong fan of Batman and a connoisseur of unique footwear, I can hardly contain my excitement for this year’s Batman Day! The 85th anniversary is a testament to the enduring legacy of the Dark Knight, and the release of the Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy Barbie dolls, along with the Crocs Batmobile clogs, promises to make it an unforgettable celebration.

2021’s Batman Day promises to be exceptionally memorable since it falls on the 85th anniversary of the iconic character who made his debut in Detective Comics #27 from 1939. In celebration, exclusive products will grace the occasion, with the highly anticipated Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy Barbie dolls and Batmobile-inspired Crocs shoes inspired by Michael Keaton’s Batmobile in Tim Burton’s 1989 Batman film being two of them. The Crocs shoes were officially launched on their website on September 16th, but sizes have already sold out rapidly. Yet, you can still secure a pair if you know where to find them.

Below you’ll find a list of retailers that have Crocs Batmobile Classic Clog in stock at the time of writing priced at the standard $69.99. This is a limited edition release, so we expect these retailers to sell out of their own stock sooner rather than later. Note that Crocs Batman Batmobile Classic Clogs are made for adults and come with 2 Jibbitz chamrs of the ’89 Batmobile and the bat symbol.

Batman To Get Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

After Batman Day 2024 on September 21st, Warner Bros. Discovery will carry on the celebrations with a fan event, timed to coincide with the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony on September 26th. In partnership with Funko, this all-day event at the Funko Hollywood store (located at 6201 Hollywood Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90028) will feature a one-hour meet and greet and autograph session with Jim Lee from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. As the Chief Creative Officer of DC, Lee is recognized for his work on Batman titles such as Batman: Hush, All Star Batman and Robin, The Boy Wonder, and the New York Times bestseller Justice League written by Geoff Johns.

In a significant milestone, Batman has become the 20th fictional character, as well as the first superhero, to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Joining an esteemed group of honorees such as Tim Burton (director of the 1989 and 1992 Batman films), Maggie Gyllenhaal (from The Dark Knight in 2008), and Gal Gadot (known for Wonder Woman and Justice League) as part of the Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2024, Batman has made a lasting impression on the world of cinema.
