Cronos: The New Dawn offers a chilling adventure through time and turmoil. Spanning across two epochs – a crumbling future and 1980s Poland, players are thrust into a reality mirroring the authentic Krakow district, Nowa Huta. Here, survival is about manipulating time itself. You assume the role of a Traveler, an enigmatic emissary from a dystopian tomorrow, who ventures through time to rescue individuals before they meet their end in the apocalypse. As you navigate a world teetering on destruction, you’ll cross paths with nightmarish creatures called the Orphans.

As a gamer, I’ve just witnessed the pulse-pounding new gameplay trailer that delves into the chilling survival moments within the Orphans’ hideout. These monstrosities are grotesque manifestations of our deepest fears, born from humanity’s darkest terrors. The trailer vividly portrays their ferocious and relentless nature, making every encounter a nail-biting struggle for survival.
What stands out the most is the need to prevent these Orphans from merging. Previous gameplay hinted at this, but now we see how it unfolds: when an enemy is defeated, it must be swiftly incinerated to prevent absorption by other foes. Failure to do so can lead to a merge, resulting in an even more powerful and speedy adversary.
Exploring the Twisted Realms of the New Dawn
Beyond that, the thrilling new teaser unveils a portion of the tale about an enigmatic Forebearer – Traveler ND 3500 – and their secretive travel diary. Gamers will traverse ominous post-apocalyptic landscapes influenced by the real-world Polish district, Nowa Huta. Here, decaying Brutalist structures are distorted and contorted by strange phenomena that disrupt reality.
