A few months back, the creators of my favorite strategy RPG, Crusader Kings 3, began unveiling Chapter 4. Just like other updates for CK3, this chapter will eventually pack a punch with loads of fresh features, but instead of all at once, it’s being rolled out in multiple instalments, with the final one due in fall 2025. Despite the extended launch timeline, the team behind Crusader Kings 3 can’t help but look ahead to what’s next. To get a sense of our community’s preferences, they recently shared a new survey, giving us fans an opportunity to influence what lies beyond the horizon.
You’ll find the survey linked from the Steam page of Crusader Kings 3. It’s a brief questionnaire designed to gather some information. Among other things, it inquires about your gaming history with CK3, your play style (whether you lean towards RPG or strategy), and your opinions on recent DLC releases. Importantly, the developers are interested in hearing your thoughts regarding new features you’d like to see in future packs. By participating, you have a chance to influence the direction of future content for Crusader Kings 3.
In Crusader Kings 3, they offer an opportunity for you to express your thoughts freely on various topics, including banking and religious orders. If you have strong feelings about features in the game, this survey is the perfect platform for you to share them. This is a valuable chance for dedicated Crusader Kings 3 players like yourself to influence the direction of CK3’s development, so make sure to take advantage of it!
Speaking of which, “Crusader Kings 3” is gradually releasing its Chapter 4 DLC. To date, we’ve seen the release of two packs – Crowns of the World and Khans of the Steppe. The first one brought in various cosmetic enhancements such as six new crowns to flaunt your dominance. Concurrently, the Khan pack expanded the Steppe region and allowed players to establish a nomadic form of government.
As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that in the upcoming months, we’ll be unveiling the Coronation Event Pack! This exciting addition promises to enhance your gaming experience by introducing the Coronation activity. With this, you’ll have the opportunity to solidify your reign through spectacular coronations that are sure to leave your subjects and neighboring rulers in awe.
Additionally, we can expect new councilors and vassal events, although Paradox has yet to reveal the specifics. I, for one, can hardly wait!
The concluding Chapter 4 update is named “All Under Heaven”. It’s scheduled for release in the fall and offers a significant expansion to the game map. According to Paradox, the map will increase by approximately 30% because they are incorporating China, Japan, and Southeast Asia. This expansion will introduce several new clans to guide, offering players compelling reasons to revisit Crusader Kings 3 once it’s out. Whether you aspire to reign as Shogun or the Devaraja, this update is expected to draw many players back if it lives up to Paradox’s plans.
Exciting news for all us Crusader Kings fans! The long-awaited Crusader Kings 3 has finally dropped on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. As a reminder, we’ve just entered Chapter 4, which will carry us through the rest of this year. Make sure to lend your voice by completing the survey Parox has set up – it’s ongoing, so there’s no expiration date! But don’t wait too long; the sooner you complete it, the more impact your opinions will have on what comes next after Chapter 4 concludes. Enjoy the game, fellow strategists!
