As a seasoned gamer who’s seen more cult leaders than I can count, I must say, the Unholy Alliance update for Cult of the Lamb has me utterly smitten! The prospect of unlocking The Goat and new Corrupted Tarots and Relics is tantalizing, like a forbidden fruit that promises power beyond measure.
At long last, I’ve got some exciting news to share! The much-anticipated update for Cult of the Lamb, titled “The Unholy Alliance,” has arrived! Now, I can finally strive to unlock the powerful Goat form, while also discovering new Corrupted Tarots and Relics. Let’s see what this update brings to our gaming experience!
In the cooperative mode, The Goat joins as a fresh playable character. Interestingly, you can also unveil The Goat in single-player gameplay. Despite not bringing any gameplay advantages, unlocking The Goat grants access to an innovative collection of Corrupted Tarots and Relics, which can be utilized to fortify The Lamb during battles known as crusades!
In this walkthrough, we’ll show you how to acquire The Goat, along with the latest Corrupted Tarots and Relics, which are part of the recent update.
How To Unlock The Goat & Corrupted Tarots, Relics | Cult Of The Lamb: Unholy Alliance Update
To access The Goat, the Corrupted Tarots, and Relics, you need to achieve a significant milestone first: complete the entire game. This means overcoming the final adversary, known as The One Who Waits. After successfully defeating this formidable opponent, simply begin a fresh crusade!
1. From this point forward, The Lamb can perish at any stage during the campaign. After defeating the final boss for the first time, your character will be transported to a pristine realm marked by a statue of The Lamb. Interact with the statue and complete the scene to be resurrected.
After the gameplay segment ends, I’ll find myself back in action, ready to carry on with this quest. I can choose to see it through to the end, or take a break and rejoin my guild later. The decision is mine to make.
Returning to The Temple and Unlocking the Fleece
Once you’ve completed your quest and make your way back to your religious group, navigate towards your Temple. Interact with the sacred Altar inside, then select the Crown menu. At the bottom of this menu, you will find an item named The Goat Fleece. To permanently acquire it, spend 5 Sin points from your account. If you’re low on Sin, consider absolving your followers to earn more.
Please keep in mind that The Goat Fleece is strictly for aesthetic purposes only. It doesn’t influence gameplay at all, however, when combined with the latest transfiguration system, it allows you to give The Lamb a brand-new appearance.
If The Goat Fleece hasn’t shown up for you, this is because of a known issue we’re working on. To resolve it temporarily, try enabling the co-op mode from the pause menu and then disabling it again. After that, recheck the Crown menu; the fleece should now be visible as intended.
As a seasoned player of Cult of the Lamb, I can confidently say that understanding how to unlock The Goat and the new Corrupted Tarots and Relics is essential for progressing in the game. The Goat may just be cosmetic, but the power hidden within the Corrupted items is nothing short of extraordinary…for those who can afford them.
