At the moment I’m writing this, there seems to be some uncertainty or issue surrounding Cyberpunk 2077, yet pinpointing exactly what it is remains quite challenging.
It appears that the game’s official social media platforms are hinting playfully, which has sparked much of the current speculation. On platform X, previously known as Twitter, they have been sharing what looks like birthday calendars lately.
These calendars list the birthdays of significant characters from Cyberpunk 2077, inviting fans to celebrate with artwork and similar creations. On the surface, it appears harmless, but there have been instances where these calendars incorporate “encrypted data” sections, which are suggested to be hinting at something more complex.
This post clearly indicates the following secured compartments, accompanied by an emoji suggesting caution or suspicion:
1. “This post highlights these specific locked slots, using an emoji that conveys a sense of wariness:”
2. “The post specifically calls attention to these sealed storage areas, employing an emoji that implies a degree of apprehension:”
3. “Here’s a post that clearly identifies these confined spaces with a symbol suggesting skepticism or caution: ”
4. “This message pinpoints the locked compartments, using an emoji to express a hint of mistrust or doubt:”
5. “The post underlines these secure slots by employing an emoji that conveys a sense of unease or suspicion:”
However, its interpretation remains elusive as everyone seems to be perplexed. Many ideas are being floated, yet none seem to provide a solid basis for understanding. If this is indeed an intricate puzzle, it’s certainly a very cryptic one.
Moreover, the tweets didn’t stop after the announcement of Cyberpunk 2077 for Nintendo Switch; therefore, it’s safe to say that the game’s availability on Switch is not the reason for those posts.
Is it possible that an update for Cyberpunk 2077 is on the horizon? Given that CD Projekt Red collaborated with an external developer, Virtuos, to produce Patch 2.2 in December of last year, this seems like a plausible assumption. It was hinted at the time that Virtuos might provide further support, but we’re unsure how character birthdays fit into the equation.
Additionally, it’s important to keep in mind the upcoming Cyberpunk anime, a project announced in partnership with Netflix last year. However, there have been no updates about it recently.
Lastly, let me point out that this year marks Cyberpunk 2077’s fifth anniversary, and while it seems early, hints about any celebratory events might be surfacing now, as they wouldn’t typically start rolling out until closer to the actual event in December.
Let’s closely monitor the situation for now. If any new information arises, we’ll be sure to share it with you. Meanwhile, don’t forget to wish Kerry Eurodyne a happy birthday in the comment section below!
