Cyberpunk 2077 Livestream Announced for December 10th, New Update Incoming

As a long-time Cyberpunk 2077 enthusiast who’s seen the highs and lows of Night City, I can’t help but feel a sense of anticipation that borders on excitement with each new update announcement from CD Projekt RED. The game has been a rollercoaster ride since its initial release in 2020, and despite some bumps along the way, it’s clear that the team is committed to making it the best it can be.

Even though CD Projekt RED had assured that the development of Cyberpunk 2077 was complete, they have revealed there’s a new update (Update 2.2) in the pipeline. The release date for this update is yet to be specified as “coming soon”, but further details about its features will be shared during a REDstream event on December 10th at 8 AM PST on Twitch.

Released in December 2020, the game “Cyberpunk 2077” has sold an impressive 30 million copies, with its expansion, “Phantom Liberty,” selling over eight million. Despite a contentious launch, this first-person action RPG has undergone numerous improvements, enhancing progression, loot collection, and character building. It’s also been updated with fresh features such as vehicle combat, a refined Wanted system, and more – these additions are available exclusively on current-gen consoles together with “Phantom Liberty.

I’m thrilled to share that I’ve got my hands on “Cyberpunk 2077” across various platforms, including Xbox One, Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC! This project has been in the early stages of development this year, with Anna Megill, the former lead of “Fable,” stepping in as the lead writer.
