As a long-time fan of CD Projekt RED, it’s always a delight to see updates for my favorite games, especially one as captivating as Cyberpunk 2077. Patch 2.13 brings some exciting new features that are sure to please tech enthusiasts and graphics aficionados alike. The addition of AMD FSR 3 with Frame Generation and Intel’s XeSS 1.3, coupled with the ability to enable both DLAA and DLSS Ray Reconstruction at once, promises a visually stunning experience for those who want to push their gaming rigs to the absolute limit.


As a devoted admirer, I’m excited to share that while CD Projekt RED has shifted its focus towards future ventures like The Witcher 4 and the next chapter in Cyberpunk, they haven’t forgotten about their groundbreaking action RPG, Cyberpunk 2077. Recently, they’ve rolled out updates for the PC version, enriching the gameplay experience with a fresh set of features.

2.13 update for “Cyberpunk 2077” and its expansion “Phantom Liberty” is now active on PC platforms. This update introduces compatibility with AMD’s FSR 3 (Frame Generation) and Intel’s XeSS 1.3, offering an opportunity to maximize the game’s technical potential for enthusiasts. Moreover, players can now utilize both DLAA and DLSS Ray Reconstruction simultaneously. The patch also includes numerous improvements in stability and graphics for a smoother gaming experience. CD Projekt RED’s North American division is actively working on the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, known as Project Orion. The developer previously shared that the game was being developed at a concept stage last year.

PATCH 2.13 NOTES:

  • Added support for AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 with Frame Generation. 
  • Added support for Intel Xe Super Sampling 1.3.
  • It will now be possible to enable both DLAA and DLSS Ray Reconstruction at the same time.
  • Added a new “Utilities” tab in Settings and moved HDD Mode, Hybrid CPU Utilization and AMD Simultaneous Multithreading (SMT) options there.
