Cyberpunk 2077’s Next Update Won’t Feature New Game Plus or PS5 Pro Support

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I must confess that the news about CD Projekt RED’s upcoming update for Cyberpunk 2077 has left me with a mix of anticipation and disappointment. I’ve been eagerly awaiting the New Game Plus feature, having poured countless hours into exploring Night City’s neon-lit streets on my first playthrough. Alas, it seems that dream will have to wait a little longer.

CD Projekt RED has once again sparked excitement for the game Cyberpunk 2077 by announcing a REDstream event for Update 2.2. Since the team shifted focus to other projects following Update 2.1, fans are eagerly awaiting potential new features. However, CD Projekt’s global community director, Marin Momot, has tempered expectations regarding New Game Plus and PS5 Pro support.

In Update 2.2, a feature that many fans have been eagerly anticipating will not be included. Last month, the developer indicated that there were no plans for PS5 Pro support, and this decision has not changed. However, Momot hinted at some exciting new features to be announced during tomorrow’s stream. In the meantime, the game’s official Twitter has confirmed that bug fixes will definitely be addressed.

Cyberpunk 2077″ is playable on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. However, the newest versions of the game, including Update 2.2, are only available on current-generation consoles and PC for now. Keep an eye out for further information from REDstream on December 10th, and there may be a release in the near future.
