Despite not being available at the time of Nintendo Switch 2’s debut, “Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion” remains one of the standout third-party games set to launch this summer. The original has undergone significant enhancements, especially in terms of the newly designed player-controlled Arsenal. A fresh trailer showcases the updated combat mechanics that players can look forward to.
For example, it comes with spaces to attach up to six types of weapons, such as swords, railguns, bazookas, mid-range rifles, missile launchers, and bows. Additionally, you can equip supportive tools for abilities like creating damaging zones. Each weapon type excels in various situations, but most enemies have tough and vulnerable areas.
Tough outer layers are vulnerable to laser attacks, whereas softer surfaces sustain more harm from physical weapons. Once an adversary is knocked down, you can seize it and proceed to attack further, toss it onto other foes or strip off its armor to reveal vulnerabilities. If dealing with a boss, detach one of its body parts and utilize it as a weapon, similar to the battle against Grausam.
On September 5th, Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion will be released on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2, priced at $69.99 each platform.
