Dan Da Dan anime confirms season 2 release date

Dan Da Dan has officially got a release date for season 2!

Beginning on the 3rd of July, the latest episode of the widely acclaimed anime centered around a psychic girl and her friendship with an alien enthusiast is set to premiere in Japan.

As an observer, I found myself immersed in the captivating world of Yukinobu Tatsu’s manga back in 2024, and the first season was nothing short of a sensation that left fans yearning for more. The climactic ending of season 1 only served to fuel their anticipation. Fortunately, it seems their wishes have been granted!

In other parts of the globe, we anticipate the new season to air simultaneously on Crunchyroll. Additionally, Netflix has verified that Season 2 will be accessible for viewing.

The anime will be screened in theaters worldwide as well, starting from July 6th. Specifically, the initial three episodes of the latest season, titled Dan Da Dan: Evil Eye, are set to hit cinemas, although further details about the international screening are yet to be announced.

In addition to the theatrical screening, you can expect an interview featuring the creative minds behind the show, Fuga Yamashiro and Abel Gongora.

In addition to revealing the release date, it has also been confirmed that Mutsumi Tamura will lend her voice to the character Evil Eye.

Momo, a high school student from a family of mediums, initially clashes with her classmate Okarun, who is interested in the occult. Momo claims to believe in ghosts but rejects the existence of aliens, while Okarun holds opposite views, asserting that he believes in aliens but not ghosts.

If it’s discovered that both occurrences are genuine events, Momo uncovers a dormant ability and Okarun acquires a cursing power. United, they need to confront the supernatural dangers endangering their realm.

Thankfully, we don’t have long to wait until it’s back on our screens!
