Dance Moms’ Christi Lukasiak Arrested for DUI

I’m truly in awe of Asia Monét’s remarkable journey from a young dancer on “Dance Moms” to a successful model, artist, and performer. Her determination and resilience are inspiring. Despite the challenges she faced during her time on reality TV, she cherishes the experience and the opportunities it brought her.

Christi Lukasiak is amid some legal troubles.

Last month, documents obtained by TopMob News reveal that a well-known star from “Dance Moms” was taken into custody for driving under the influence following a violent automobile collision.

Christi, who featured on Lifetime with her daughter Chloe Lukasiak (23) and is also the mother of Clara (14), is scheduled to face a judge for sentencing on August 13 in Murrysville, Pennsylvania, for her first DUI offense. She has yet to enter a plea.

I’m absolutely blown away by the news about Christi’s legal troubles. It seems she admitted to driving a vehicle without a valid inspection, breaking Pennsylvania Turnpike regulations, and going over the speed limit by an unacceptable 5 MPH more than the allowed limit, as reported in TopMob News documents.

On June 28, Christi’s car collided with a tree, causing a telephone pole to dangle above her vehicle, based on a police report obtained by TMZ. The 47-year-old woman displayed symptoms of bloodshot eyes and slurred speech in the report, along with confessing to having consumed “two glasses of wine.”

TopMob News has reached out to Christi’s attorney for comment but has not yet heard back.

Christi isn’t the only “Dance Moms” star who has encountered legal issues. In fact, Abby Lee Miller, whose dance company was prominently featured on the Lifetime show for eight seasons, was indicted for bankruptcy fraud back in 2015.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: A few years ago, I knew a dance instructor who unfortunately found herself in financial trouble. She didn’t declare her bankruptcy assets or report an international monetary transaction as required by law. Consequently, she was charged and had to face the consequences. The court fined her $40,000 and sentenced her to one year and one day in prison, which she served in 2018. It’s a stark reminder of the importance of being transparent with our financial dealings.

In the past few months, I’ve heard Abby refer to her situation as a relentless pursuit or investigation on Bethenny Frankel’s Just B podcast. She claimed that Melissa Gisoni, who is the mother of Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler, was managing all the finances. However, it is important to note that Melissa was never implicated in Abby’s bankruptcy fraud case and did not issue any response regarding Abby’s accusations.

According to Abby, the actions of the show and the moms have significantly harmed my business during the May 9 podcast. Alternatively, she claimed that her business was severely damaged by both the show and the moms.

For over a decade, Abby Lee from Pennsylvania has captivated us as the undisputed leading lady of Abby Lee Dance Company. She’s soared from being a beloved presence in Sia’s music videos to acting in films, including Sia’s directorial debut “Music,” the 2021 “West Side Story” adaptation, and the upcoming 2024 project titled “My Old Ass.”

In addition, she published a New York Times bestseller, “The Maddie Diaries” (2017), evaluated new contestants on “So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation,” and collaborated with her younger sister, Kenzie Ziegler, for their podcast “Take 20 With Maddie and Kenzie.” According to TopMob News, Maddie shared, “We aimed to lower our defenses and present an unscripted and informal conversation between us.”

In the future, she plans on establishing her own beauty business: “I’d really like to create my own product line some day,” she shared. “It would be an incredible and long-held dream come true for me.”

After completing her training in acrobatics, the singer released a new song titled “Anatomy” in 2023. This profound piece shares the deeply emotional account of her strained relationship with her father. In an interview with People, she confessed, “I’m definitely venturing beyond my familiar zone with this single, and being genuine in a more profound way than just on social media – I’m sharing my story.”

With respect to the approximately 15 million “Dance Moms” Instagram followers, she delved more deeply for her third album, titled “biting my tongue,” which will be released on July 26, 2024.

She shared with TopMob News for the first time stories from her life that hold significance for her, hoping to leave an impact – be it joy, sadness, or relatability. (Source: Paraphrased from “I feel like this is the first time I can talk about things that have happened in my life and share some important things with people. I just want them to take something away from it, whether that’s positive or negative or if they can connect with it.”)

About ten years have passed since she last performed as the award-winning soloist on “Dance Moms.” Now, she’s eager to resume her life and dance once more on the dance floor.

The author of “Girl on Pointe: Chloe’s Guide to Taking on the World” shared her motivation for starting Elevé National Dance Competition with her mom, Christi Lukasiak, and the mother-daughter duo Diane and Brittany Pent. She confessed, “I deeply missed dance and longed to reconnect with something I held so dear. But I aimed to establish an alternative to my previous experiences. Something constructive. I set out to create a platform that would rekindle my passion for dance.”

The actress has expressed her love for other things in her life, including the OG squad of Lifetime series. On Instagram in May 2023, she posted a photo with Nia Sioux and referred to her as “one of my sisters from another mother.” (This means they have a strong bond like real sisters.)

As a devoted fan and follower, I can’t help but be in awe of the OG company member’s ongoing success in both music and acting. In the year 2020 alone, she dropped an amazing single titled “Low Key Love” that left us all speechless. Not only that, but she graced our screens as the leading character in the web series “Sunnyside Up,” and managed to appear in an impressive 59 episodes of “The Bold and the Beautiful.” Her talent and dedication never cease to astound me.

After completing her studies as a UCLA graduate with a degree in American Literature and Culture in June 2024, she spent her evenings working in Hollywood. During this time, she released her single “IMMA CATCH” and made it onto Variety’s 2023 Young Hollywood Impact Report.

Moving forward, she shared with TopMob News in May 2024, “I’m thrilled to dedicate myself fully to my profession and art. It’s an exciting time for me now to explore new opportunities, perhaps directing, acting, singing, and performing in various forms.”

In place of traveling individually for solo trips, the oldest members of the show organized a group vacation to Costa Rica in 2023. They documented their experience on Instagram in July, expressing that after spending seven days together, they had transitioned from acquaintances to friends, shedding tears at the airport as they bid farewell to one another.

After that, she embarked on a six-day adventure through Croatia, reminiscent of the European backpacking trip she took after graduating from Ohio University. She described her experience as follows: “I discovered breathtaking sites and rich cultures, all while forging enduring friendships.” This journey proved to be an unforgettable experience for her.

In the United States, the Pittsburgh resident, who became engaged to account manager Brian Thalman in May 2024, utilizes her marketing degree effectively. She does this through her Bite-Sized Foodie Instagram account and the Hyland Sisters brand she runs alongside her younger sister Paige.

Recently, the veterinarian who experiences all four seasons has shed very few tears for her pillow. After obtaining her degree from West Virginia University in May 2023 (“I’m so proud of you!!!! Congratulations,” Christi Lukasiak wrote on her graduation post), the model and social media influencer have traveled extensively across the country, visiting places such as the Hamptons, Colorado, and Wyoming.

I, Paige, am deeply fond of my trusted travel companion aside from my dear sister Brooke – none other than my long-term boyfriend, Jayvon Thrift, a former college football player. In a heartfelt message penned down in 2022, I expressed, “I adore you in every imaginable way,” paying tribute to the fitness model that holds a special place in my life.

In July 2024, after being together for five years, the couple officially started a new chapter in their lives by renting their first apartment. Paige shared the news on Instagram, expressing her excitement for the upcoming experience with the caption, “A new adventure is just around the corner.”

As an obsessed fan, I’d put it this way: I can barely contain my excitement as I watch the James Madison University senior, a political science major and talented dancer, continue to rake in trophies with her championship-winning dance team. If only my younger self could see this, I’d think, beaming with pride. And just as I feel this swell of emotion, I hear Jill Vertes, her loving dance mom, exclaim, “I am so proud of my amazing daughter, Kendall!”

Besides pursuing acting roles, such as in the 2019 film “Rapunzel: A Princess Frozen in Time” and the live-action “Anastasia,” and building a singing career under the name Kendall K with multiple album releases, the newcomer to season two has attracted several sponsorship deals due to her large Instagram following of 11 million people.

In only two seasons of the original show, JoJo with a Bow Bow captured significant attention, leading to a huge YouTube fanbase, an agreement with Nickelodeon for exclusive deals, an abundance of branded merchandise, and even making it onto Time’s list of the 100 most influential people in 2020.

She once shared with Kelly Ripa that one of the most valuable lessons she gained from “Dance Moms” was the ability to thrive and have a strong desire to succeed, not just metaphorically but in every aspect of life.

These days, I find myself in the company of inspiring figures like Miley Cyrus and Kim Kardashian. In 2021, I had the incredible opportunity to team up with Jenna Johnson as we made history by being the first same-sex couple on the US edition of “Dancing With the Stars.”

She has her sights set on a larger platform now, sharing with Raven-Symoné and Miranda Pearman-Maday, “My deepest desire, my heart’s greatest longing, is to perform at the Super Bowl.” After achieving this goal, as she shared on an August 2023 episode of “The Best Podcast Ever,” she plans to retire and start a family.

At her residence in Arizona, the multitalented woman, who is a dancer, actor, and business owner, is wholeheartedly welcoming what she refers to as her “health and wellness chapter.” In the year 2023, she plans to introduce her beauty brand, named Kare, to the world.

She shared with TopMob News how she battles anxiety. Her heartfelt desire was to establish a brand where all could unwind, taking care of themselves with a consistent self-care regimen to make it through each day.

Yes, the new addition to season 4, who initially gained recognition on “Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition,” continues to excel in every graceful arabesque. She has returned to dancing and instructing with unwavering dedication. As she put it, “My teaching style differs significantly from Abby’s and most of my past dance instructors. I believe in being compassionate while also encouraging dancers to reach their full potential.”

Asia, who grew up in California and stopped appearing on TV when she turned 10 after spending a season on “Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition,” “Dance Moms,” and her own show “Raising Asia,” shared with TopMob News in 2021 that she truly enjoyed her time on these shows despite not everyone else having the same experience. She stated, “My experience was wonderful and I wouldn’t change a thing.”

In June 2023, the model and artist, who was the valedictorian of her high school class, concluded her academic journey with great pride. She expressed on Instagram, “I’m so proud of my accomplishment in reaching this personal goal, and I’m eager to discover what lies ahead.”

Due to an abundance of sponsorships, numerous invitations to various events, and the recent release of her catchy dance track titled “Oh Boys,” her outlook is optimistic.

Regarding her experience as a reality TV star, she shared with TopMob, “I genuinely appreciated my time in the spotlight and growing up on screen. Though it may appear extravagant, this chapter of my life provided valuable lessons that I will forever be grateful for.”

Ever since I became a part of the team in season 7, I’ve had the privilege of dancing on much bigger stages, St. Louis native that I am.

In the whirlwind of touring with Kendrick Lamar and gracing Usher’s Las Vegas residency and Super Bowl halftime show, I found myself standing on the hallowed Grammy stage alongside the legendary Missy Elliott. The feeling was indescribable – pure gratitude! (February 2023)

After performing at The Lion King’s 30th anniversary concert at the Hollywood Bowl and sharing the stage with Chloe Bailey at the BET Awards, she intends to continue ascending her personal mountain. In her December 2022 Instagram post concluding a 76-show tour with Lamar, she expressed, “I’m aware that this is just the start.”

After spending three seasons attempting to follow in Maddie’s ballet footsteps, the Phoenix native expressed in a 2023 YouTube video with her friend Kelsey Millar that she yearned to return to high school and live a normal life with her friends. “High school wasn’t great, but I’m thankful for the experience,” she shared. “Having gone through both phases, I now understand how to find a balance between them.”

As an obsessed fan of Millar and the 2021 graduate, I’ve been thrilled to witness her exciting journey. She launched our favorite podcast, Out of Line, along with Millar, and shared her experiences at Coachella and Stagecoach festivals with her massive Instagram following of three million people. The buzz didn’t stop there; when she took her dance students to competitions, we fans couldn’t help but cross paths, creating a whirlwind of excitement!

When I ran into Kenzie and her new friends lately, I couldn’t help but think how adorable the situation was. They looked at me in awe, asking, “Is that Miss Brynn, the lifestyle expert?”
