As a seasoned film and reality TV enthusiast with a penchant for all things glitzy and glamorous, I must say that the announcement of Dancing on Ice‘s 2025 season has me positively gleaming with anticipation! With its sparkling costumes, heart-stopping performances, and a lineup brimming with familiar faces, it promises to be an unmissable spectacle.
ITV has announced that Dancing on Ice will begin its 2025 season on Sunday 12th January.
The first show of the new season will air 6:30pm on ITV and ITVX.
As a passionate moviegoer, I’m thrilled to announce that Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern will grace our screens once more, following Stephen’s successful stint after Philip Schofield last year. The exciting roster of celebrities, who’ll be strutting their stuff on the ice, has already been unveiled!
Participating in this event are Mollie Pierce (from The Traitors), Steve Redgrave (Olympic rower), Michaela Strachan (Springwatch presenter), along with soap opera actors hailing from Coronation Street, EastEnders, and Hollyoaks, as well as popular figures from The Only Way Is Essex and Love Island reality TV shows.
Additionally, Anton Ferdinand (a former football player), Josh Jones (a well-known comedian), Ferne McCann (a popular TV personality and reality star) are among those scheduled to appear as well.
Unfortunately, Paralympic athlete Dame Sarah Storey won’t skate this time due to an unfortunate injury. Despite her absence, she expressed her enthusiasm for the remarkable Class of 2025, promising to cheer them on from the sidelines.
For the judging team, Oti Mabuse, Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill, and Christopher Dean will continue to sit in their positions, offering feedback and scoring each performance during the entire season.
The victor this time will join ranks with Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas and professional skater Amani Fancy, who won the championship last year by outperforming Made in Chelsea’s Miles Nazaire and radio personality Adele Roberts in the final.
