Lori Vallow Daybell has her eyes set on her future.
Approximately two years since a 51-year-old woman received a life sentence without the chance of parole for the 2018 murders of her children, Joshua “JJ” Vallow, aged 7, and Tylee Ryan, who was 16, as well as plotting to kill her husband Chad Daybell’s previous wife Tamara “Tammy” Daybell, she expressed in her initial televised interview that she doesn’t anticipate remaining imprisoned forever.
Lori asserted to NBC Dateline’s Keith Morrison during an interview on March 7 that both she and Chad, who was sentenced to death for three murder convictions in 2024, would eventually be cleared of any wrongdoing, stating they will both receive similar exonerations.
Once I’m cleared, perhaps I’ll try out for ‘Dancing with the Stars‘, and you can join me too,” she added.
Regarding Lori, who has pleaded not guilty to a conspiracy to murder her late fourth husband Charles Vallow together with her deceased brother Alex Cox in an upcoming Arizona trial, what gives her such assurance about the trial’s outcome?
She claimed, “Jesus revealed visions of the future to me during my time in heaven. Those events have yet to unfold, as they are still ahead of us in the timeline.
In their lives, a religion centered around the end times played a significant role, with both Lori and Chad being deeply devoted followers. When Lori encountered Chad in 2018, she expressed to Keith that it felt as if a barrier separating heaven and Earth had lifted, and she believed they had known each other across time for an endless duration.
Additionally, she asserted that she wasn’t there when Tylee, JJ, and Tammy were killed. Inspectors posit that her brother Alex, who passed away from a pulmonary embolism in 2019, is the suspected perpetrator of the murders, with Lori and Chad allegedly giving the orders.
Although Lori stands accused and convicted of three murders, she maintains her innocence in these crimes. Instead, she feels misinterpreted about her situation rather than acknowledging any wrongdoing. Her trial for Charles’ death begins with jury selection on March 31.
She questioned Keith, “How do you have information about them?” She further inquired, “How do you know the details of their life, or even what their true experiences are?
Additionally, she strongly criticized the media’s depiction of her during the trial, where she was convicted for both first-degree murder and grand theft by deception, in connection with the deaths of her two children, which drew widespread attention from the public.
Lori, a mother to Colby Ryan, commented on the media, “We’re all familiar with their tactics – they sensationalize events, fabricate stories, and manipulate facts. It’s mind-boggling to me how things have evolved into what they are today.
