Dancing With the Stars: Find Out Who Went Home in Double Elimination

As a seasoned viewer of Dancing with the Stars, I am beyond thrilled to witness this extraordinary lineup of celebrities gracing the dance floor! Each contestant brings a unique charm and a rich tapestry of experiences that promises an entertaining and engaging season.

Two dancers took their final bows on Dancing With the Stars.

On September 24th, Tori Spelling and Anna Delvey became the initial departures from the season 33 competition, following a thrilling double elimination in the ballroom.

Hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro expressed gratitude towards the dancers and their partners, Pasha Pashkov and Ezra Sosa, as they relinquished their aspirations for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy.

Declaring her journey as “incredible,” Tori cheered for her children from the dance floor, emphasizing, “Whatever you set your mind on, you can achieve it!

After Anna joked that she wasn’t taking “anything” from the experience, judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli collectively offered a final round of applause for the departing contestants.

The eliminations came after a dazzling evening of performances for the themed Oscars Night, featuring songs from Oscar-winning films.

In the style of “Top Gun,” football player Danny Amendola and his partner Witney Carson soared across the dance floor to Kenny Loggins’ “Danger Zone.” At the same time, athlete Dwight Howard showcased his grace with partner Daniella Karagach as they danced to “City of Stars.

With enthusiasm in their steps, reality TV stars Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson danced to “Shallow,” sung by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper from the movie “A Star Is Born.” Meanwhile, Bachelorette alum Jenn Tran and partner Sasha Farber showed that a good party can never be killed as they moved to the rhythm of the tune from the film “The Great Gatsby.

Swindler Anna maintained her fashionable ankle monitoring device, adorning it as she danced with partner Ezra to the tune of “Suddenly I See” by KT Tunstall, a song featured in the Academy Award-nominated movie The Devil Wears Prada.

In pursuit of a gold medal, Olympian Ilona Maher and professional dancer Alan Bersten channeled their inner dancing duo from “Dirty Dancing” as they salsa’d to the tune of “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” by Billy Medley and Jennifer Warnes. Meanwhile, gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik and his partner Rylee Arnold amplified his Superman persona during their dance routine set to the iconic theme music of the superhero.

However, it was Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong who truly stood out, accumulating the highest combined scores from the judges, with an impressive total of 47 points over the two weeks.
