Following the buzz it created in the fall, the popular supernatural thriller “Dandadan,” co-produced by Netflix and Science Saru, is coming back this summer. Fans have finally been treated to a proper sneak peek of Season 2 through a new trailer. Even though Season 1 only had a single season run, it left fans spellbound with its engaging cast, innovative plotline, visually stunning scenes by Science Saru, and an unforgettable opening theme song by Creepy Nuts. It’s no wonder that the series was quickly renewed for another season, and the newest “Dandadan” trailer offers a glimpse into what lies ahead.
Netflix’s anime adaptation of Dandadan has unveiled its first full-length trailer for Season 2, set to premiere on July 3rd, 2025. The sneak peek offers an intense look at Jiji and his Evil Eye transformation clashing against Okarun in Turbo Granny mode. Additionally, viewers catch a glimpse of the Mongolian Death Worm and a hint of the eerie Kito Family, both key components to the enigmatic haunting of Jiji’s residence.
In Season 2 of Dan Dan, Momo and Okarun’s probe into Jiji’s family enigma takes an unexpected turn when peculiar residents interfere and the town’s hidden truths surface, starting July 3rd on Netflix.

Dandadan Shares New Season 2 Trailer Debuting Jiji’s Evil Eye Form
Even though Jiji made his appearance towards the end of Season 1, he has swiftly gained popularity among fans, particularly those of Aleks Le, the English voice actor for the character. Apart from his eccentric demeanor, Jiji also sparked a fresh enigma that Momo and Okarun are eager to solve, which will play a significant role in Season 2. As suggested by its title, the Cursed House Arc or Evil Eye Arc will challenge our protagonists to discover the source of the supernatural events within Jiji’s residence.
In contrast to Season 1 leaving fans guessing about the mystery mainly centered around the enigmatic room discovered by Jiji and Okarun, the latest trailer suggests a deeper exploration of the mystery with hints of a 200-year-old vendetta and an erupting volcano. The most intriguing aspect, however, is the transformation of Jiji into a new form, evidently engaging in a soccer match against Okarun. Similar to other adaptations by Science SARU from the popular manga, this sneak peek wouldn’t be thorough without incorporating a character-specific color filter, in this instance, a dark and foreboding purple hue. Naturally, eager fans will only find out more when Season 2 of Dandadan premieres this coming Summer.
