Darby Allin Challenges for an AEW Championship at AEW All In

As a die-hard AEW fan with years of wrestling fandom under my belt, I am beyond excited for this year’s AEW All In at Wembley Stadium. The energy and anticipation surrounding this event are palpable, especially after tonight’s thrilling episode of Collision. The upcoming championship match between Jack Perry and Darby Allin is already shaping up to be a spectacle, with Allin determined to claim the TNT Championship and dismantle The Elite at any cost.

As a gamer excitedly counting down the days, I can’t wait for AEW’s return to London, England in a few weeks for their second annual “AEW All In” pay-per-view at legendary Wembley Stadium. The anticipation builds as the card starts to take shape and we have some massive matches already locked in for this must-see event. Tonight’s episode of “AEW Collision” marked the beginning of the Summer Series en route to “AEW All In,” and it did not disappoint. AEW set the stage for another thrilling championship clash, as The Elite’s Jack Perry prepares to defend against former TNT Champion and fellow AEW pillar Darby Allin.

After making his comeback to TV following an injury, Allin has been on a winning streak and is determined to take down The Elite at any cost. However, before he can challenge for the title, he must first face Perry in “Blood and Guts” at the end of this month during the clash between Team AEW (Allin, Mark Briscoe, The Acclaimed, and AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland) and The Elite (Young Bucks, Jack Perry, Kazuchika Okada, and Hangman Adam Page).

At the triumphant end of #AEWCollision’s fierce battle this past week, Darby Allin declared his plans leading up to Blood and Guts on this coming Wednesday! Catch the action live on TNT.

What is Announced for AEW All In 2024?

Two notable bouts have been confirmed for the upcoming show. Initially, Strickland will face Bryan Danielson in a title defense for the AEW World Championship. Danielson secured this chance by triumphing in the men’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament, besting Hangman Adam Page in the final round. Last year, Strickland was sidelined due to injury and couldn’t participate in AEW All In. With his wrestling career approaching its end, he intends to make the most of this opportunity before retiring completely. Additionally, Mariah May will challenge her former mentor, Toni Storm, for the AEW Women’s World Championship. The title shot was earned by May through the women’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament. Her long-standing feud with Storm culminated in a betrayal after months of hinting at stepping out from under Storm’s shadow.

In a recent interview with Comicbook, AEW President Tony Khan shared insights on the upcoming AEW All In event and the planned match between Mariah May and “Timeless” Toni Storm. For over a year, Khan has been eagerly preparing for this highly-anticipated face-off between his protegee and the esteemed wrestler. The tension between the two women is set to boil over at All In, potentially leading to a distressing outcome for one of them. Excited about the long-awaited confrontation, Khan expressed, “It’s been in the works for a while now, and I believe our fans have been looking forward to it just as much as I have.”
