As it stands, “Avengers: Doomsday” is now in active production. Actor Charlie Cox from the Marvel Cinematic Universe has shared his thoughts on the absence of Daredevil’s chair in the film’s initial announcement.
In a recent chat with Collider, the interviewer brought up the noticeable lack of a cast chair for Cox during Marvel Studios’ live-stream event for Avengers: Doomsday. Since he’ll be back in 2026 for Daredevil: Born Again, Cox explained his character Matt Murdock’s absence from the Avengers: Doomsday announcement by saying:
I didn’t find my name on it, did you? [Laughs] Just to clarify, the method we usually receive information is common to everyone else as well. Historically speaking, that’s been the case. Somebody shared a link with me. I checked for my name, but it wasn’t there. Perhaps someday [Laughs].
