Daredevil Animated Video Has Fans Clamoring for Disney+ Cartoon

As a seasoned gamer and die-hard Marvel fan who has spent countless hours immersed in the vibrant world of Matt Murdock, also known as Daredevil, I can’t help but feel a surge of excitement at the prospect of an animated series featuring the Man Without Fear. Having grown up with the Batman: The Animated Series and seeing its impact on the genre, I eagerly anticipate a similar treatment for one of my favorite characters from Marvel Comics.

With Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again about to make its grand entrance, enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating another series centered around the Man Without Fear. This past Wednesday, Marvel’s official social media platforms unveiled an animated clip of Daredevil, giving fans a sneak peek at how the character might appear in a new medium. As one would guess, fans were quick to praise the quality of the animation, urging Marvel to initiate production on an animated Daredevil series.

One user commented, “I really think there should be a Disney-style animated series for the DC Universe, similar to the Batman: The Animated Series or Cape Crusader.” Another agreed, “Absolutely! It would be great if it were included in the Marvel Animation universe as well!”

From now on, all animated productions from Marvel are handled by a fresh subsidiary of Marvel Studios, called Marvel Animation. This studio is engaged in creating shows that either align with the broader Marvel Cinematic Universe or can function independently. Notably, Charlie Cox, who plays Daredevil in the MCU, will lend his voice to a character in Marvel Animation’s upcoming series, “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man”.

Back in the studio, quite some time ago, I recorded voiceovers for something. This would have been around when I was filming She-Hulk, which I believe was 2021. At Fan Expo Boston 2024, I mentioned this. I’ve only seen a few scenes that I’ve voiced for it, but I haven’t even watched these scenes yet. All I’ve seen are some initial sketches of the animation. That’s all I know so far.

The actor made it clear that he hasn’t watched any part of it yet and doesn’t know the plot, but he finds it intriguing. He expresses his enthusiasm by saying, “I find it exciting that [Daredevil] is a part of it.”

As a die-hard Marvel enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share the lineup of upcoming Marvel Studios films! Starting with Valentine’s Day 2025, I can’t wait for Captain America: Brave New World. Then, on May 5th, 2025, get ready for the action-packed Thunderbolts* ! July 25th, 2025, marks the beginning of The Fantastic Four’s journey in The Fantastic Four: First Steps. November 7th, 2025, brings back the undying vampire hunter in Blade! Fast forward to May 1st, 2026, for an epic battle in Avengers: Doomsday, and finally, on May 7th, 2027, brace yourself for the climactic Avengers: Secret Wars!

Marvel Television’s “Agatha All Along” is set to debut on Disney+ in September, while “Daredevil: Born Again” is scheduled for release next March. As for the Marvel Animation series, the second season of “X-Men ’97” and the premieres of “Black Panther: Eyes of Wakanda,” “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man,” and “Marvel Zombies” have not been announced yet.
