Daredevil: Born Again fans have a game-changing Punisher theory after episode 4 moment

**Warning: Spoilers ahead for Daredevil: Born Again episode 4.**

In the fourth installment of Daredevil: Born Again, we welcomed back an eagerly anticipated character: Jon Bernthal reprising his role as Frank Castle, also known as The Punisher.

In an intense and heartfelt moment reminiscent of Netflix’s initial series, Frank directly addressed Matthew Murdock (played by Charlie Cox) concerning the demise of his dearest friend, Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson). He openly discussed the profound grief he felt over the loss of his own son.

As a passionate filmgoer, I must admit that one intriguing detail left fans in a state of surprise. This surprise stemmed from the moment when Frank made an unexpected reference to Foggy’s unjust murder. He posed a question that resonated deeply: “Alright, so what happens next? Every day Bullseye dines in the mess hall, devours his meager rations, you know he even breathes the very air you breathe?

For the first time ever in this series, the character known as Benjamin ‘Dex’ Poindexter is now called Bullseye. This has left fans questioning whether or not Bullseye has crossed paths with Frank before.

In the final scenes of the original Daredevil series, Dex was depicted in a hospital setting, hinting at his transformation into the antagonist known as Bullseye. However, it’s been seven years since that storyline in the series.

It’s likely that, given Frank calls Dex “Bullseye,” they might have encountered each other behind the scenes during the time since we last saw them, and maybe even had a confrontation.

It would certainly explain the amount of venom in Frank’s voice when he’s talking about him.

Some enthusiasts have proposed a theory about X (previously recognized as Twitter), with one posting: “It appears they encountered each other outside of the screen and seem to have an existing rivalry, if Frank was the one who initially referred to him as ‘Bullseye’.

One person commented: “Mentioning Frank with Bullseye was quite cool. I wonder what would happen if they ever met!

It appears that their encounter is likely unavoidable, given that they’ve been mentioned together in this context.

In another part of the story, episode 4 presented the chilling character of Muse, a supervillain. This villain was depicted in spine-tingling moments where he drew blood from one of his unfortunate victims for one of his horrifying art creations.

Moving forward, viewers are in for a treat as they’ll get two episodes at once – episodes 5 and 6 will air together. So, grab your seats and prepare for the ride!
