In a delightful display, Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, stars of “Daredevil: Born Again,” celebrate the end of Season 1 by posting a sneak peek from Season 2 on their official social media platform (previously known as Twitter). Grateful for the support of Marvel fans during the first season, they reminisce about key moments in the series, such as Foggy’s demise, White Tiger’s trial, Muse’s rampage, Bullseye’s resurface, and Wilson Fisk’s climb to power. D’Onofrio hints at even more exciting developments in Season 2 by unveiling that Fogwell’s Gym will make a comeback in the upcoming season.
D’Onofrio hinted with a playful nudge, “That’s merely the start,” following Cox’s rundown of Season 1’s major surprises. “There’s much more to anticipate in the second season from Hell’s Kitchen.” In the video, the actor appears with fake blood streaking down his head and his hand bandaged, implying he was filming a scene where Kingpin recovers from a battle. Take a peek at it below:

The filming for Season 2 of “Daredevil: Born Again” started prior to its premiere on Disney+ in early March, with Marvel choosing to keep details about Season 2 confidential, preferring fans’ attention on the first season instead. Nevertheless, some leaked set photos have emerged, offering a glimpse into potential plotlines. Notably, these images suggest that Daredevil’s new costume may draw inspiration from the “Shadowland” storyline in the comics.
Fogwell’s Gym played a significant role in Netflix’s series “Daredevil,” appearing frequently across its three seasons. This gym was where Matt Murdock’s father, Jack, honed his boxing skills during his career. Later, when Matt took on the role of Daredevil, he returned to this very gym as a means to channel his anger and frustration.

The reappearance of Fogwell’s Gym adds an interesting touch. As Matt Murdock and Karen Page pledged at the end of Season 1 to save New York from Wilson Fisk’s tyranny, they’ve been gathering allies to help in their mission. Although Daredevil demonstrated his combat skills throughout Season 1, he’ll be tested severely as he aims to reclaim the city from Fisk. It might be wise for him to train at the gym to fortify both his body and mind for the impending battle against the mayor and his ruthless squad. The finale of Season 1 didn’t hold back on brutal, vivid violence, so it’s possible that the creative team plans to increase the intensity even more in Season 2.
The second season of “Daredevil: Born Again” has the promise to become one of Marvel’s most intriguing upcoming projects, following the dramatic Season 1 finale where Fisk enforced martial law in New York and intensified his crusade against vigilantes. This setup is certainly captivating, and it will be thrilling to see how the story unfolds next. It seems that the risks have never been greater, and I hope Marvel reveals a release date soon; it would be disappointing if there’s a long wait after such an intense cliffhanger.
