Daredevil: Born Again Trailer Released

As a long-time fan who has witnessed the highs and lows of Daredevil’s journey, I can confidently say that the first teaser for Daredevil: Born Again has sent my heart racing with excitement! The return of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin is a dream come true. The fact that we’re picking up just moments after Echo’s post-credits scene, and Wilson Fisk’s mayoral campaign is straight out of the comic books, is nothing short of exhilarating!

Following several months of excitement, the long-awaited initial trailer for Daredevil: Born Again has been unveiled! While fans previously caught glimpses of Charlie Cox’s Man Without Fear thanks to set pictures, this trailer is the first officially released preview from Marvel Studios. Alongside Cox’s Matt Murdock / Daredevil, Kingpin (played by Vincent D’Onofrio) menacingly reappears in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Appearing as if it continues mere moments after Echo’s post-credits scene, the teaser offers fans a sneak peek into Wilson Fisk’s mayoral campaign, directly borrowing the “Mayor Fisk” plotline from the original comics. You can watch the whole trailer here below.

Marvel Studios producer Brad Winderbaum likens the upcoming live-action series, “Daredevil: Born Again,” to the animated show “X-Men ’97” because they are both continuations of earlier productions that were revived many years following their initial cancellations in the same narrative timeline.

Winderbaum pointed out during a Marvel podcast episode that Daredevil is remarkably like X-Men ’97, as both are reviving cherished elements of their respective fanbases. However, he added that it’s also venturing off into uncharted territory.

As someone who has spent years immersed in the world of storytelling, I can attest to the fact that characters don’t exist in a vacuum. They evolve and grow just like we do, reflecting the changes in their environment and the challenges they face. The universe of these particular characters, Matt and Wilson, has undergone significant transformation, which is evident in the way they have changed.

As a dedicated gamer diving back into my favorite Marvel’s Daredevil series, I’m thrilled to welcome some familiar faces. Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil, will be here, along with Vincent D’Onofrio as the menacing Kingpin, Wilson Fisk. Jon Bernthal reprises his role as Frank Castle, the relentless Punisher. We also have newcomers like Wilson Bethel as Bullseye, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk, Margarita Levieva, Michael Gandolfini, Genneya Walton, and Arty Froushan. However, it remains uncertain if Sandrine Holt, Nikki M. James, Clark Johnson, Michael Gaston, and Harris Yulin will continue their journey in the series following the announced creative overhaul.

As an ardent fan, I’m thrilled to announce that “Daredevil: Born Again” is set to premiere on Disney+ come March 2025! If you’re yet to join the Disney+ family, now’s the perfect time. Click here to subscribe and be part of this exciting journey.
