2021 marks the release of Shadow Project, a tactical shooter developed by indie studio Orphic Studios, featuring immersive storytelling and a first-person perspective. Earlier, a trailer for this game was made public. The mood is rather grim, reminiscent of the post-apocalyptic world portrayed in the STALKER series, with Heart of Chernobyl being its latest release.

In the Shadow Project, our aim is to put an end to the barbaric experiments where scientists manipulate different life-forms, resulting in horrific creatures. To accomplish this, we’ll assume the persona of a soldier belonging to a covert unit dispatched by the U.S. for the destruction of hostile military bases. The narrative unfolds during the Cold War era in the late 1980s, transporting us to the Soviet Union.
