Production for Good Omens season 3 is progressing steadily, and a lucky fan’s visit to a shooting site has given us our initial glimpse of David Tennant as Crowley!
A user named rhosmeinir on Tumblr posted some behind-the-scenes photos of David Tennant dressed as Crowley, entering a bookstore, but attentive fans will observe that this isn’t the same shop as Aziraphale’s (Michael Sheen), which was shown in the series and was left under Muriel’s care.
Although specifics about Season 3 remain secret, given that Season 2 ended with Crowley and Aziraphale sharing a romantic kiss, viewers are eagerly anticipating whether this relationship will continue to develop in the series’ concluding episode.
As I eagerly wait, I can’t help but share my excitement as the cameras roll and weave their magic once more! By the end of 2025 or early 2026, I anticipate our journey back to that captivating fantasy world will commence, promising another extraordinary adventure for all of us to enjoy together.
Last year at the BAFTAs, Tennant hinted at more romantic moments between Aziraphale and Crowley in future episodes, saying to Michelle Visage on the red carpet: “Oh, there are quite a few yet to come. To be truthful, I’m not exactly sure what they are myself, but you’ll find out.
As a die-hard movie enthusiast, I recall last year’s announcement that the Good Omens TV show was set to conclude with a single 90-minute finale episode. However, following allegations of sexual misconduct, creator Neil Gaiman parted ways from the series, a decision he vehemently refutes.
In simpler terms, Neil Gaiman helped with the script for the final episode, but he won’t take part in the actual filming, and his production company, Blank Corporation, won’t participate either.
This year in January, New York magazine ran a comprehensive piece that outlined several consent-related accusations against Gaiman. Among these accusations were claims that he participated in non-consensual “rough” sexual activities and BDSM.
Following the publication of the article, Gaiman responded with a statement clarifying that he had chosen to remain silent up until then, out of respect for those sharing their experiences and to avoid amplifying misinformation further.
As I delved into this new set of narratives, there were instances where I felt a vague sense of familiarity mixed with uncertainty, and accounts of occurrences side by side with events that undeniably never transpired.
While I’m not flawless, I can assure you that I’ve always respected boundaries when it comes to sexual activities, ensuring they are consensual and not forced upon anyone at any point.
