I. New Areas
New Areas Now Available
◇ New Locations: Starting from Version 5.5, Atocpan and the Ancient Sacred Mountain will be accessible in Natlan.
As a gamer, I’ve just finished the Archon Quest Prologue: Act III titled “Song of the Dragon and Freedom.” Now, an automatic Teleport Waypoint is all set to appear near Atocpan in Natlan’s Stadium of the Sacred Flame, located in the southwest. If I’ve completed this quest before the update, then I’ll find my new Teleport Waypoint there post-update. Plus, I’m looking forward to receiving some Primogems as a reward for this Teleport Waypoint once it unlocks automatically.
Natlan Reputation System Enhancement: As we expand into new territories, we’ve added Tribe Standing within the Abundant Confederacy to our reputation system.
◆ Unlock Criteria:
Finish “The Pilgrimage of the Return of the Sacred Flame” in Archon Quest Chapter V: Act I, titled “Bright Blossoms on the Sun-Kissed Journey”.
In simpler terms, you need to accomplish the mission called “The Pilgrimage of the Return of the Sacred Flame” that is found in Chapter V (the fifth chapter) and Act I (the first act) of a game’s questline. The title of this act is “Bright Blossoms on the Sun-Kissed Journey.”
In other words, you are required to complete the first mission within the fifth chapter of an adventure in the game, which goes by the name “Bright Blossoms on the Sun-Kissed Journey.
In addition, there will be new Fishing Points and “Radiant Spincrystals” in Natlan.
II. New Characters
5-Star Character “Strength in Serenity” Varesa (Electro)
◇ Vision: Electro
◇ Weapon: Catalyst
◇ Easygoing orchard caretaker and champion of Abundance Guild, eagerly seeking justice… and plenty of sustenance!
◆ Varesa is a DPS character who specializes in Plunging Attacks and possesses high-speed movement.
1. Option A: With each use of her elemental ability, Varesa swiftly rotates between her elemental skill, charged attacks, and plunging strikes, creating an exhilarating fight. When she keeps her elemental skill activated, Varesa switches to a fast-moving mode, making it simple for her to traverse the expansive open world.
2. Option B: Each time Varesa activates her elemental power, she swiftly transitions between her elemental skill, charged assaults, and freefall attacks, resulting in an engaging combat experience. By maintaining her elemental skill, Varesa enters a high-speed travel mode, enabling her to move effortlessly through the open world.
Both options maintain the original meaning while using simpler language and easy-to-understand phrases. The choice between them depends on the specific context or style desired for the text.
In simpler terms, Varesa reaches a state called Fiery Passion. This empowers all her abilities and raises her damage output. Under specific circumstances, she can bypass the cooldown on her skills and use her unique Elemental Burst one time without depleting as much energy, giving her a substantial edge in battle.
4-Star Character “Tempered in Molten Stone” Iansan (Electro)
◇ Vision: Electro
◇ Weapon: Polearm
The person serving as the head coach at the Fitness Club within the Collective of Plenty is also recognized as an accomplished nutritionist from Natlan.
◆ Iansan is an Electro support character who provides various buffs for on-field characters.
After I unleash my Elemental Skill, I’ll dive into the Nightsoul’s Blessing, which significantly boosts my speed on the move. Pulling off Special Charged Attacks grants me some nifty bonuses.
When she uses her Elemental Burst, it boosts the attack power of the currently active character. Meanwhile, the active character’s movements also recharge Iansan’s Nightsoul points, offering extra advantages.
Moreover, under certain circumstances, Iansan’s Passive Ability has the capability of regenerating Health Points (HP) for the currently active character.
III. New Domain
Domain of Blessing: Derelict Masonry Dock
◇ In an era alien to today’s landscapes, where charcoal-gray machines powered by radiant runes took over the labor of living beings, effortlessly materializing brilliance and creativity above pools of fire. This epoch was cut short by oppressive forces from outside, leading the once dominant race into a state of stagnation. Now, only those who lament the passing of time visit this place.
◇ Unlock Criteria (satisfy any one of the criteria below to unlock):
• Reach Adventure Rank 10 or above
• Complete Archon Quest Prologue: Act III “Song of the Dragon and Freedom”
◆ Request the Domain for items from the “Long Night’s Oath” and “Deep Galleries’ Finale” collections.
IV. New Equipment
1. New Weapon (Examples based on Refinement Rank 1)
Vivid Notions (5-Star Catalyst)
After performing a Plunging Attack, you’ll receive the “Dawn’s First Hue” bonus, boosting Critical Damage by 28%. Similarly, using an Elemental Skill or Burst activates the “Twilight’s Splendor” effect, increasing Critical Damage by 40%. Each effect lasts for 15 seconds and will end immediately if damage is dealt from a ground impact within 0.1 seconds.
You can acquire the unique, top-tier weapon named “Vivid Notions” (Catalyst) through the Event Wish. For detailed information on how to obtain it, consult the latest event notifications provided by the officials.
2. New Artifact Sets
Long Night’s Oath (4-Star and 5-Star)
◇ 2-Piece Set: Increases Plunging Attack DMG by 25%.
4-Piece Set Description: Upon the character’s Normal, Charged, or Elemental Ability striking an opponent, they will gain 1, 2, or 2 stacks of “Eternal Glow.” Each of these abilities can activate this effect every second. Eternal Glow: Plunging Attacks cause a 15% damage boost for 6 seconds. Maximum of 5 stacks. The duration of each stack is tracked individually.
Finale of the Deep Galleries (4-Star and 5-Star)
◇ 2-Piece Set: Cryo DMG Bonus +15%.
As a Gamer:
When my character’s Elemental Energy is zero, my Normal Attack damage gets a 60% boost and my Elemental Burst damage follows suit. However, after I land a Normal Attack, the Elemental Burst effect won’t apply for 6 seconds. Similarly, after I use an Elemental Burst, the Normal Attack effect is nullified for the next 6 seconds. This effect can still activate even when my character is out of the field.
Get these specific artifact sets from the latest sanctum in Natlan, the Derelict Masonry Dock: ‘Long Night’s Oath’ and ‘End of the Deep Galleries.'”
Or
“Retrieve the following artifact collections from the recent addition to Natlan, the Derelict Masonry Dock: ‘Long Night’s Pledge’ and ‘Final Act of the Underwater Passageways.’

To begin with the “Quick Start” feature, you’ll be able to undertake Archon Quest Chapter V: Act I titled “Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn.” Upon finishing Archon Quest Chapter V: Act I, you can then proceed to accept and complete subsequent acts within Chapter V until you unlock the most recent Tribal Chronicles, which were introduced in the current version update.
Following the Version 5.5 update, until April 15, 2025, at 17:59, the “Quick Start” feature will be accessible for Tribal Chronicles’ “Mushroom Realm Mystery”: Act III. If you’ve finished Act II but don’t satisfy the conditions to initiate Act III, you can use the “Quick Start” option in the “Events Overview” menu to unlock Act III directly.
In the game “Tribal Chronicles,” the storyline for “Mushroom Realm Mystery” in Act III unfolds following the events of Chapter V’s “Incandescent Ode of Resurrection” from the Archon Quest. No matter which quests you finish first, your Pilgrim’s Chronicle will only log information about the “Mushroom Realm Mystery” once both Act III and Chapter V: Act V have been fully completed.

VI. New Enemies
Lava Dragon Statue
◇ A creature with two forms that is capable of continuously generating heat.
In the “Geohuman” state, applying Pyro attacks triggers a transformation into the “Molten Dragon” form. If you persist with Pyro attacks, it’ll enter an Overburn state. But if you successfully cool it down, it will transform back to its original “Geohuman” state.
Located in Atocpan.
Furnace Shell Mountain Weasel
◇ An unusual, age-old type of mountain creature dwells within the hallowed ruins of the sacred mountains, having established a symbiotic bond with the intricate mechanical system known as the Source Mechanism.
In combat, the Furnace Shell Mountain Weasel conceals itself below ground and occasionally surfaces to assault nearby foes through its “Hidden Energy Center.” To bring this creature out of hiding, you must inflict sufficient damage on the “Hidden Energy Center.” Since it’s buried beneath the ground, launching a Diving Attack could be more productive…
Wayob Manifestation
Thundering Wayob Manifestation
◇ The totem figures made from obsidian, which are revered among the diverse tribes of Natlan, take on the likeness of the deities that the tribes honor.
In combat, the Wayob Manifestation sets up its Trial Ground, a testing area that strengthens its defenses and draws in the elemental powers of all characters within it. Characters inside this ground deal significantly higher damage. If the shield surrounding the arena is destroyed before it dissipates, they will also recover a substantial amount of energy. However, if they cannot break the shield, the Manifestation creates an Elemental Barrier proportional to the remaining shield strength instead.
Natlan Saurians
Tatankasaurus and Tatankasaur Whelp
◇ The Saurians that inhabit the land of Natlan.
Dragons capable of transforming and blending with their specific habitats, assuming various shapes and morphologies accordingly.
Sauroform Tribal Warriors

2. Awe-inspiring Battler: Sky Conqueror (for Skybreaker), Awe-inspiring Battler: Light Chaser of the Skies (for Spiritlight Chaser)
◇ The warriors of Natlan’s great tribes who fight for the honor and glory of their people.
Through many years of sharing life and combat with their reptilian allies, these tribal fighters have progressively adopted their characteristics and mastered applying them in battle scenarios.

〓Adjustments & Optimizations〓
● Artifacts
Within the “Artifact” user interface, the “Quick Select” function in the “Artifact Salvage” section will, by default, choose all the artifacts available.
As a gamer, when I’m in the Artifact Enhancement interface and opt for the “Quick Select” feature, it automatically prefers Artifact Enhancement Materials over 5-star Artifacts, making my upgrade process smoother.
Following the software update, Artifacts that have been created using Holy Potions will now carry a distinct mark, ensuring they roll a minimum of two times for their specified Minor Affixes once they reach maximum level.
● Serenitea Pot
Adjusts the layout of the “Realm Depot” interface to display more items.
Modify the “Realm Depot” user interface by incorporating an “Item Exchange List” function. This feature enables users to compile items for redemption, alter quantities as needed, and process multiple redemptions simultaneously from the list.
● Android Controller Support
Provides Android device compatibility with a controller, here are the compatible controller models and system specifications:
Enhances Android device functionality by adding controller support; below you’ll find the list of compatible controllers and their system prerequisites:
DualSense™ Wireless Controller: Android 12.0 and above;
DUALSHOCK®4 Wireless Controller: Android 10.0 and above;
Xbox Wireless Controller: Android 9.0 and above;
Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2: Android 9.0 and above.
*The controller needs to be connected to the device in Bluetooth mode.
● Controller
Improves the user experience with specific button combinations on wheel-related functions when using controller mode, such as the DualSense™ wireless controller for instance: enhances the control’s performance and overall gaming experience.
a. Slightly increases the time required to hold L1 button to display the wheel interface.
b. The “L1 + right stick” combination is still able to quickly open the wheel interface.
Instead of using various button combinations to open the wheel interface (such as while engaging with the Four-Leaf Sigil or activating Elemental Sight), these combinations will now execute the associated action directly when pressed.
In the “Mail” interface, a search function has been added to the “Gift Mail Box.”
Within the “Mail” platform, some notifications about events now come with direct links that take you straight to the associated event pages.
Adds mail reminder for when “Blessing of the Welkin Moon” expires.
● Crafting
Incorporates a “Resin Amount” indicator in the upper right region of the “Craft” window while creating “Condensed Resin”, and includes a convenient “Refill Original Resin” button, much like the one found on the “Map” screen.
If the “Condensed Resin” creation process is initiated through the “Craft” menu and you don’t have enough “Original Resin,” but there are ways to refill it, a message will pop up offering you the chance to recharge your “Original Resin.
● Audio
Enhances the quality of voice-overs in specific quests for Chinese, English, and Japanese languages, as well as refining sound effects particularly for Chinese voice-overs.
Following the update of Version 5.5, Kinich’s VA (Voice Actress/Actor) will transition to Jacob Takanashi. This adjustment pertains exclusively to the new content introduced in Version 5.5; the existing content will be revised with Jacob Takanashi as the voice in subsequent updates.
After the Version 5.5 update, the character Ifa’s Japanese VA will be updated to Terashima Junta.
● Other Systems
After deleting, blocking, or unblocking someone as a friend, you’ll notice that the “Friends” and “Blocked Users” screens will no longer automatically update their content.
Introduces the Astral Mark function into the “Food” display. Items tagged with the Astral Mark will appear at the top or be highlighted in the “Food” interface, as well as any other user interfaces that involve Food items.
Adds a new icon for food effects.
In the “Map” interface, if there are access points leading to different environment maps like “Enkanomiya”, a representative icon will appear. Clicking on this icon will provide details about the specific environment.
Optimizes the display logic for red dots of the “Spiral Abyss” in the “Events Overview” interface.
When tracking boss enemies in the “Adventurer Handbook” or “Events” menu:
As a gamer, when I’ve got the enemy’s closest Teleport Point unlocked, I simply navigate to the map interface on the sidebar, pick that Teleport Point, and voila! I instantaneously transport myself there, keeping tabs on my foe at the same time.
If the closest Teleport Destination point for the enemy isn’t accessible yet, the “Map” interface will show and direct the Traveler towards the enemy’s position instead.
As a passionate player, I’m thrilled about the upcoming updates! In Version 5.5, I’ll get to face off against some formidable bosses in the “Natlan” region and those related to the 5-star characters during that version. But wait, there’s more! In Version 5.6, it’s all hands on deck as the feature will expand to encompass every single boss enemy, promising an even more immersive gaming experience for me!
● Other
Enhances the smoothness of scrolling within various interfaces and simplifies the process of pressing scrollbars. When the controller is set to mode, specific list-scrolling buttons associated with the right joystick will become visible for easier navigation.
Enhances the Paimon menu on PC, incorporates an “Exit to Desktop” choice within the interface for a smoother game exit experience.
Decreases the waiting period after finding an Oculus with the “Oculus Resonance Stone” from 5 minutes down to just 2 minutes.
In the “Quest” interface, when you’re following a quest, if that quest exists in a different location, the map for that specific area will automatically pop up and guide you to your quest (however, this feature isn’t available in Domains like the Theater Lobby at present).
Adds compatibility support for iPad Air (M3) and iPad (A16) devices.
As a gamer, I find that the damage my character takes from Burning grass and Electro-Charged water bodies in Domains is reduced to a minimum.
〓Bug Fixes〓
● Enemies
As a devoted fan, I’m excited to share that I’ve helped address an anomaly affecting specific “Sauroform Tribal Warriors” models. Previously, there were instances where their head model would behave unusually during skill-casting scenarios. Now, with the fix in place, these warriors will display as intended, enhancing our gaming experience!
● Characters
Improves a problem that causes Mavuika’s hairstyle to appear distorted or incorrect when using Nightsoul’s Blessing at specific viewing angles on certain mobile devices.
Addresses a problem that arises when Xiangling dons the “New Year’s Cheer” attire, causing her feet to appear unusually elevated during the selection of “Upbeat Encouragement” within the “Take Photo” > “Pose.” The issue has now been resolved.
Corrects a problem that occurs in specific scenarios when using Ororon’s passive ability “Nightshade Synesthesia” to activate the “Hypersense” effect, which may lead to the consumption of Nightsoul points without inflicting any damage.
In certain situations, when Ororon is armed with either the “Gilded Dreams” or “Flower of Paradise Lost” Artifact Sets, the character on the field may fail to activate both Ororon’s “Hypersense” effect and its corresponding Artifact Set Bonus at the same time. This problem has been addressed.
Addresses a problem in which Yumemizuki Mizuki’s weapon model appears distorted following the execution of Plunging Attacks.
Fixes an issue whereby Yumemizuki Mizuki’s hair had minor display abnormalities.
Addresses a problem that might cause Yumemizuki Mizuki to abruptly exit the Dreamdrifter state prematurely, if launched while already in Dreamdrifter mode.
● Imaginarium Theater
Addresses a problem occurring with certain Overloaded Divine Magic (DMG), preventing the “Thunderstrikes” effect from activating on “Brilliant Blessings.
Fixes some text description errors in “Brilliant Blessings.”
● System
Improves a problem that causes the displayed amount of material to be wrong in specific situations, when using the “Quick Select” feature to incorporate refinement materials within the “Weapon Refinement” user interface.
In the aftermath of the Version 5.4 update, it’s possible that under specific conditions, the “Unlocking Domains” tutorial wouldn’t start as intended. Now, Travelers who meet the requirements for triggering this tutorial but haven’t yet, will automatically initiate the tutorial when they log in again.
As a devoted admirer, I’d like to share that I recently addressed an anomaly within the game Repertoire of Myriad Melodies. In specific scenarios, the completion rate would show erratically upon finishing a performance. Now, thankfully, this peculiarity has been resolved!
● Audio
Fixes an issue of abnormal sound effects and music playing.
Fixes an issue whereby some background music would play abnormally in areas near the enemy “Rilai.”
Improves a problem that occurs when using a controller; this issue makes the sound effects of musical instruments sound strange or irregular when you attempt to play them while interacting with the NPC “Sansa” under certain conditions.
In the “Settings” section of “Repertoire of Myriad Melodies”, modifying the sound level for keys in the “Instrument Settings” menu was found to have no impact on the volume of the Floral Zither, Festive Drum, and Djem Djem Drum. This problem has been rectified now.
● Other
Addresses a problem in which the “Ley Line Disorder” impacts in the Domain of Guyun and Level 1 of the Spiral Abyss do not align with their provided descriptions, ensuring consistency between the in-game effects and their written descriptions.
Resolves a problem where characters or Iktomisaurs cannot engage with specific Phlogiston supply items when they are in the Spiritspeaker state.
Corrects text issues in various languages and enhances readability. (Please note that the gameplay functions remain unchanged. Players can view the changes across different languages by navigating to Paimon Menu > Settings > Language, then adjusting the Game Language.)
– Rectifies discrepancies between specific voice-overs and matching lines.
– Improves certain English translations.
〓Genius Invokation TCG Balance Adjustment〓
Increase the starting maximum HP of Character Cards “Sigewinne,” “Sangonomiya Kokomi,” “Venti,” “Ganyu,” “Hu Tao,” “Zhongli,” “Noelle,” and “Jean” from 10 to 12.
Modifies the impact of the “Elemental Resonance: High Voltage” card as follows: “Your currently active character and your upcoming character, if not at their maximum energy level, will each receive 1 additional Energy point.
Modifies the impact of the Event Card “Elemental Resonance: Impetuous Winds” to: “The following time you execute ‘Switch Character’: This action will be treated as a Quick Action rather than a Battle Action. It will also require one less Elemental Die. The subsequent Swirl Reaction you activate inflicts +1 damage to all adversary characters with the exception of the target.
As a gamer, I’d rephrase it like this: “Whenever I have Burning Flame, Dendro Core, or Catalyzing Field in play, I can deal 1 point of Pyro, Hydro, or Electro damage respectively to my opponent’s active character with the Elemental Resonance: Sprawling Greenery card.
As an enthusiast, I’d rephrase the “Elemental Resonance: Enduring Rock” card effect as follows: “Grants a protective shield of 3 points to my currently active character.
Let me clarify that this narrative is purely imaginative, bearing no resemblance to real individuals, incidents, associations, or institutions.
