Days Gone PS5 Will Tempt You Back to the Broken Road with All-New Trophies

In the revamped edition of the PS4 hit game, Days Gone, you’ll find a wealth of fresh material, such as six brand-new Trophies to achieve.

On social media, developer Bend Studio hinted at exciting novelties coming for PS5 gamers, with a significant focus on the new gameplay mode titled Horde Assault.

Here’s the full list of additions:

More Freakers, More Problems
Defeat an increased size horde in Horde Assault
I’m On Top of the World
Beat the target score for all levels in Horde Assault
Freakshow
Survive Horde Assault for 15 minutes
Survivor
Achieve max level in Horde Assault
Dead Don’t Ride
Complete the story of Days Gone in Permadeath mode on any difficulty
Sarah’s Gift
Find something important to Deacon that was thought lost

For the uninitiated, Horde Assault is a fresh, arcade-oriented mode that revolves around the iconic horde battles from the initial launch, offering a thrilling new experience for fans and newcomers alike.

As a dedicated fan, I remember the thrill of battling hordes of Freakers in the original game. Now, leveraging the mighty PS5, they’ve amplified the scale of these confrontations! It’s all about enduring as long as you can to score points and unlock exciting in-game perks.

In the Trophies, a fresh addition is the “permanent death” mode, transforming the game into a true survival experience. Essentially, you’ll have to finish the game without meeting your demise; however, if you slip up, you can revert back to a singular checkpoint to resume from the midway point of the campaign’s second act.

We’re equally curious about the trophy associated with the main character’s wife Sarah. Could it be a new item to search for and potentially add to your collection?

Another important note is that transferring your save file from the PS4 edition of the game will instantly unlock all the Trophies you’ve previously achieved. Fortunately, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered now includes this useful feature, which was missing in its initial release, so it’s reassuring to have clarification on this point.
