The reworked version of “Days Gone,” titled “Days Gone Remastered,” is now confirmed and set to debut on April 25th exclusively for PlayStation 5, with compatibility for the PS5 Pro as well. If you already own the PS4 edition, you can upgrade to this remaster for just $10. You can watch the initial trailer below.
In addition to accessibility features (still under wraps) and PlayStation State of Play Record support on the Pro model, new game modes such as Permadeath and Speedrun are on their way. There’s also a fresh arcade-style mode called Horde Assault where players will face off against significantly larger groups of undead.
The latest add-on, titled “Broken Roads,” is expected to roll out for PC gamers concurrently with the game’s release on their platform. Keep an eye out for additional information and updates, particularly regarding visual enhancements and other modifications.
You can play Days Gone on a PlayStation 4, and even though it received mixed reviews when it first came out, it managed to sell over 7.3 million copies by fiscal year 2020. Unfortunately, Bend Studio has stopped working on an open-world live-service game based on a new concept, as Sony decided to cancel the project.
