As a lifelong fan of both DC Comics and All Elite Wrestling (AEW), I can honestly say that today was a day for the history books! The crossover between these two powerhouses has been a dream come true, and it’s mind-blowing to see Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman appearing on AEW Dynamite alongside some of my favorite wrestlers.
Fans of DC Comics have been eagerly anticipating how ‘Absolute Power’ and the ‘All In Special’ would impact the DC Universe, and today we finally received some of those answers. Similarly, fans of AEW also received long-awaited updates due to the recent announcement of a new TV deal. However, an unexpected twist unfolded as these two worlds intersected during tonight’s AEW Dynamite. Not only did characters from AEW make their way into the comics today, but DC Comics garnered significant attention during the All In broadcast, with Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman appearing alongside other heroes throughout the episode.

Apart from displaying a comprehensive graphic for DC on the screen, it included a segment of the cover for DC All In Special #1. To add to this, the commentary team provided a detailed ad read. This is quite significant, especially considering that both entities are associated with Warner Bros. Discovery. It’s noteworthy that such an extensive display hasn’t been common until now, making it even more surprising.
If I had received my comics an hour sooner, I would have been informed about the AEW deal an hour ahead of when my phone notified me (I found out while at the comic bookstore).

Among the circulating artworks is The House of Strickland series, which showcases Swerve, along with a unique group shot that includes Strickland, Cassidy, Storm, Will Ospreay, Britt Baker, and Darby Allin. These were unveiled at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, and we now have a clearer view of the two-page stories that are hitting stores.

In the aftermath of Absolute Power, the main characters from the DC Universe have stepped up to bridge global rifts and establish a new epoch of unity. This timing couldn’t be more crucial, as Darkseid has reemerged!
