DC Studios has unveiled plans for a fresh Green Lantern animated show, and it’s been confirmed by one of the creators of ‘My Adventures with Superman’ that these two shows will share the same storyline continuity. So far, ‘My Adventures with Superman’ has produced two successful seasons in collaboration with Warner Bros. Animation and Adult Swim, and they are currently developing the third season. However, with all the recent developments at DC Studios, it looks like the world of ‘My Adventures with Superman’ is experiencing some significant changes, as a new series set within the same timeline is now being produced.
DC Studios has officially started making a new animated series called “My Journeys with Green Lantern“. Similar to its predecessor “My Journeys with Superman“, this series will have Jake Wyatt as executive producer, and Stephanie Gonzaga as co-producer for the new project. Excitedly announcing the news on social media, Wyatt also confirmed that both shows, “My Journeys with Superman” and “My Journeys with Green Lantern“, will be set within the same continuity.
My Adventures with Superman Sparks New Universe
Jake Wyatt, executive producer of the upcoming show “My Adventures with Green Lantern,” announced the news to fans. He clarified that this new series will indeed take place within the same storyline as “My Adventures With Superman.” Wyatt expressed his eagerness to delve deeper into that universe alongside his collaborator, Stephanie Gonzaga. Furthermore, he shared on social media that some of the design teams from the Superman show would be involved in the Green Lantern production as well, promising an exciting blend of talents! The projects are progressing steadily in their respective stages of development.
Regarding the upcoming animated series titled “My Adventures with Green Lantern,”, it is hinted that it will feature the following: “Watch out for her power… the light of Green Lantern. In the series ‘My Adventures with Green Lantern‘, a Green Lantern Power Ring descends from the heavens and selects Jessica Cruz, a high school student, to be its protector. As further remnants from the Lanterns’ cosmic war crash down along with their extraterrestrial enemies, she must swear an oath to safeguard Earth in all circumstances, whether it’s bright or dark.
What Does This Mean for My Adventures With Superman?
As the second season of “My Adventures with Superman” unfolded, it was weaving its unique narrative, introducing additional heroes, villains, and characters. One episode even hinted at the Green Lanterns’ presence through a silent appearance, paving the way for “My Adventures with Green Lantern“.
