DC Makes Big Changes to The Rogues in Absolute Flash First Look Preview

As a movie reviewer, I’m thrilled to share my thoughts on DC’s upcoming wave of heroes in the Absolute Universe, starting with none other than The Flash! Jeff Lemire, Nick Robles, Adriano Lucas, and Tom Napolitano are the brilliant minds taking us on an extraordinary journey with Wally West. Though shrouded in mystery, the latest preview offers tantalizing hints to what awaits us.

However, it’s the transformation of The Rogues that has everyone buzzing! These notorious villains have undergone a striking makeover, and the new look is quite different from anything we’ve seen before. To catch a glimpse of these changes, be sure to check out the images below. Get ready, fans, because things are about to get exciting in the Absolute Universe!

In this story, we encounter Wally West, a character who appears to be in great trouble. It’s evident he’s fleeing from someone, though the identity of his pursuer remains unclear. However, hints are dropped throughout, such as “I have no choice but to keep going,” “Keep running, when they discover me,” and “If he ever finds out, he’ll kill me without a doubt.” Furthermore, there are references to a terrible event that has occurred, like “Everything is in disarray” and “I’ve made such a catastrophic mistake.

The large introduction scene appears to depict West grappling with the Speed Force, yet it’s not just a simple wrestling match – it seems to be revealing fragments of what transpired, and the outcome does not seem favorable for those participating.

West struggles to cope with everything happening around him, seeming to regain control but instead finds himself two days back in time unintentionally. He begins reminding himself about his location and identity, which is Wally West. This self-affirmation sets up the main surprise of the preview.

On the previous page, we’ve just caught a glimpse of the revamped Rogues, currently consisting of Lisa Snart, Captain Boomerang, Trickster, and Captain Cold. Notably, both Captain Cold and Captain Boomerang have received stylish updates, with Captain Cold undergoing a significant contemporary transformation. On the other hand, Trickster appears to have taken on a more unsettling appearance.
