DDG Accuses Ex Halle Bailey of Being “Psychological Risk” to Son Halo

In the midst of a custody dispute concerning their child named Halo, Halle Bailey is currently dealing with severe accusations being made by her former partner, known as DDG .

In an emergency petition submitted by DDG on June 4, the rapper asked the court to reject Halle’s recent application to travel with their 17-month-old child to Italy for work. He argued that the actress poses a potential emotional and psychological threat not only to herself but also to their child, labeling her as an “imminent risk.

According to court documents acquired by TopMob News, Daryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., also known as DDG, claimed in his statements that Halle repeatedly employed emotional manipulation and control tactics during their tumultuous relationship lasting nearly three years, often threatening self-harm or suicide to exert her influence.

During Halle’s pregnancy in 2023, it was reportedly claimed that DDG stated she threatened him by insisting they reconcile, implying that if they didn’t, she would choose to terminate the pregnancy.

In a different occurrence from the same year, DDG claimed that the actress supposedly threatened to take her own life with his lawfully possessed firearm, alleging that Halle seized the weapon and departed their residence without informing anyone about her location.

According to DDG’s claims, Halle is said to have harassed him during their relationship, not just emotionally but also through physical and verbal attacks.

In his submission, DDG stated, “Considering these dangers to self-infliction, I am convinced that the Petitioner poses a risk to our son’s wellbeing, making it inadvisable for her to travel with Halo to Italy for a duration of two months.

He’s asking the court to give him both legal and physical guardianship of Halo, or come up with a different visitation arrangement where he and Halle swap between two-day and five-day periods instead.

A few weeks ago, documents were submitted by DDG, following Halle’s petition for sole legal and physical custody of Halo. In her filing, she claimed that an incident involving DDG occurred during a child-handoff in January, where he is said to have assaulted her. The court granted Halle a temporary restraining order against DDG, who denies the accusations of abuse.

TopMob News has attempted to contact Halle’s legal representative regarding the claims made by DDG, but have yet to receive a response. In court documents obtained by TMZ, Halle countered DDG’s filing for custody of Halo by accusing him of being difficult during negotiations and waiting until her temporary restraining order had expired before pursuing custody.
