Dead by Daylight is Adding Cross-Progression and a Limited-Time 2v8 Mode

As a dedicated fan of Dead by Daylight, I am beyond excited about the latest addition to the game – Lara Croft as a new Survivor character and the introduction of a new 2v8 mode. This update brings a fresh twist to the gameplay that I’ve grown to love.

Dead by Daylight now includes Lara Croft as a new Survivor character, expanding its list of collaborations. Moreover, this update brings additional notable features for the players’ enjoyment.

A notable addition is a time-limited 2v8 mode where your standard Dead by Daylight experience gets multiplied, with eight Survivors facing off against two Killers. This mode will be available on five enlarged maps, each designed to accommodate the larger player number.

As an avid fan of the game, I’m thrilled to share that there are significant modifications coming to the core gameplay. For starters, Perks and Hooks will no longer be a part of the experience. Instead, generators have been multiplied, requiring Survivors to mend a total of 13 instead of eight. Downed Survivors will now be immediately transported to cages. Additionally, a new class system is being introduced, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg! The anticipated 2v8 mode is set to debut on July 25 and run until August 8.

Simultaneously, Behaviour Interactive has revealed that cross-progression is now being implemented in “Dead by Daylight” as of July 22. This means that the advancement you’ve made in the game will be transferable across all platforms if you are logged into your Behaviour Interactive account.
