As a seasoned survivor of countless zombie apocalypses, having played through the original Dead Rising and its sequels numerous times, I must say that Capcom’s decision to remaster the first game is music to my ears! The prospect of exploring Willamette Mall once more, with revamped visuals and enhanced features, leaves me thrilled.
Capcom is reintroducing the original “Dead Rising” game in an updated form as the “Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster.” This remake boasts enhanced graphics, added convenience elements, and a host of other improvements. The standard version costs $50, but there’s also a Digital Deluxe Edition that comes with outfits from various Capcom games, including “Resident Evil.”
In an exciting new trailer, I’ve come across a stunning reveal – it’s none other than Leon S. Kennedy from the legendary game, Resident Evil 2! Dressed in the colors of Raccoon City Police Department, this outfit might not grant special abilities or advantages, but it sure adds a thrilling touch to my gaming experience. It’s more like a cool, collectible costume for me to wear in the game.
Absolutely, there’s additional content on the way for the survival horror series, featuring hints of iconic antagonists such as Nemesis (from Resident Evil 3) and Tyrant (Resident Evil 1). Additionally, you’ll find costumes from Mega Man and other Capcom fighting games, totaling 17 (plus some optional background music tracks for extra ambiance). These additional content packs are included in the Digital Deluxe Edition but can also be bought separately.
The enhanced version of “Dead Rising,” titled “Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster,” will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on September 19th. Keep up-to-date with our write-up for the most recent information.
