As a die-hard Deadpool fan who’s been following this merry mess since his debut, I must say, the latest turn of events has me more intrigued than ever! The regenerating degenerate himself, Wade Wilson, is making a comeback after being brutally taken down by Death Grip, and his daughter Ellie is stepping up to fill those Deadpool-sized shoes.
It’s unlikely you believed that Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool, would remain dead forever. In Deadpool #6, published in September, he was killed by the villain Death Grip, a disciple of Death herself. When Death Grip absorbed the Muramasa Blade, a mystical weapon that cancels healing powers, it rendered Wade powerless and led to his gruesome demise. Rest in pieces, Deadpool. However, Deadpool’s daughter, Ellie, took up the mantle in Deadpool #7, but her solo run is soon to end, much like a platter of chimichangas during a Golden Girls marathon.

To begin with, I, Elliepool, will tackle the mutant assassins Valentine Vuong and M.O.D.O.K., as I embark on a quest to revive my father. His body, at the moment, is eerily posed in the conference room of D&D HQ, reminiscent of the Weekend-at-Bernie’s scenario.
