Deadpool: Samurai Finally Brings Back Its Spider-Hero in Season 2

As a seasoned gamer and comic book enthusiast with over two decades of experience under my belt, I must say that the latest developments in “Deadpool: Samurai” Season 2 have me thoroughly excited! The unexpected return of Sakura Spider has added an intriguing twist to the storyline, and it’s always a treat to see how Deadpool navigates through his adventures in Japan.

In the second season of the “Deadpool: Samurai” manga, the main storyline has been gradually unfolding, and the most recent installment took things to another level by reintroducing its own arachnid hero, Sakura Spider. Previously, “Deadpool: Samurai” made an unexpected comeback this summer in a humorous romance manga. This new series was initially scheduled to premiere, and managed to publish a few chapters before it was abruptly halted by Deadpool himself. It was then that the Marvel anti-hero declared that he was actually returning for a whole new season filled with additional chapters in the series.

In the heat of Season 2, I found myself back in the land of the Rising Sun, summoned by Iron Man due to the tragic demise of my Samurai Squad comrade, Sakura Spider. The Japanese Spider-Man wannabe had met an untimely end at the hands of a ruthless gang. Determined to avenge her death and bring the perpetrators to justice, I embarked on a bloodthirsty quest. However, things took an unexpected turn when it was unveiled in the latest installment that my dear friend Sakura Spider is still very much alive! It appears that rumors of her passing had been grossly exaggerated; she’s as lively as ever!

Deadpool: Samurai – Sakura Spider Is Confirmed Alive

Chapter 19 of Deadpool: Samurai unfolds as Deadpool and Loki engage in combat against the gang, who have pilfered Marvel superhero abilities. However, Deadpool remains distraught over the absence of Sakura Spider as a partner for his Japanese escapade, much like their previous adventure. Loki attempts to break the news to Deadpool that she’s deceased, but to everyone’s astonishment, Sakura Spider is spotted on a neighboring rooftop eavesdropping on the conversation. She’s taken aback to learn of her presumed demise, and it transpires that Iron Man had also reached out to her regarding a Spider-Man being assaulted by the Yakuza.

Following Deadpool’s confirmation that she was still alive, the two share a joyful reunion as it has been two years since the Season 1 finale of the manga series. However, this moment brings up an intriguing question: which Spider-Man did the Yakuza murder before this encounter, leading to their initial confrontation? It is then disclosed that the deceased Spider-Man was not the original but another Spider-Man altogether. Interestingly, a group of fake Spider-Men were inspired by reading the “Spider-Man: Fake Red” manga, where an ordinary individual decided to put on a Spider-Man suit and emulate the famous Marvel superhero.

What’s Next for Deadpool: Samurai?

As I find myself side by side with Sakura Spider once more, the true pulse of Season 2 begins to surge. Just as hinted at in the nail-biting finale of the last act, a Deadpool from another reality bursts open a gateway overhead, revealing a horde of multidimensional Deadpools wreaking havoc across the multiverse – yes, even the Marvel cinematic universe isn’t safe! They’re the mischief-makers responsible for pulling me back to Japan for round two, and they’ve got something else brewing up their sleeves.

The multiversal Deadpools’ intentions towards the multiverse remain unclear, but so far in its first season, Deadpool: Samurai hasn’t shied away from causing chaos. It seems likely that this trend will continue in the second season, as Deadpool is known for making jokes by killing off Spider-Men, only to retract his actions a few chapters later and move on with the plot. With Sakura Spider assisting, it won’t be long before we see a new Samurai Squad lineup emerge.
