Deadpool & Wolverine: Who Plays Lady Deadpool?

As a long-time Marvel fan and avid gamer, I’ve been eagerly anticipating the release of “Deadpool & Wolverine.” The latest installment in the Deadpool franchise has left fans guessing about the identity of Lady Deadpool, with theories ranging from Taylor Swift to Ryan Reynolds in a wig. But finally, we have the answer – Blake Lively is indeed the voice behind the mask.

As a long-time fan of Marvel movies and comic books, I have eagerly anticipated the release of “Deadpool & Wolverine.” The excitement was palpable as we finally got a glimpse of the film in its final trailer, and the mystery surrounding Lady Deadpool, or Ladypool as she’s also known, had me intrigued. I, like many other fans, had my theories about who might be under that mask. Some speculated wildly, suggesting Taylor Swift or even Ryan Reynolds himself in a wig.

Since fans have been speculating about Lady Deadpool’s true identity in the movie, there have been expectations that her mask would be removed. However, most Deadpool variants wore masks during their screen time. Although you can distinguish Lively’s voice, her face remains concealed from viewers. Interestingly, she isn’t alone in keeping her identity a secret; other stars like Matthew McConaughey as Cowboy Deadpool and Nathan Fillion as Headpool also never reveal their faces on camera.

Ryan Reynolds Addresses Working with Blake Lively:

ComicBook interviewed Reynolds together with Jackman and director Shawn Levy for Deadpool and Wolverine. Although they didn’t reveal any spoilers, Reynolds gave a funny response when asked about potentially working with Lively in a Marvel production.

Reynolds remarked with great sincerity, “She doesn’t come close to being as good of a friend as Hugh is.” This comment left Jackman and Levy amused. “By the way, we haven’t begun filming yet,” he added jokingly. “I’ll put on a show for you shortly.”

Jackman noted that his friendship with Reynolds came before Reynolds started dating Lively.

Reynolds shared his fondness for collaborating with others, reminiscing about the past when actors like Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn worked closely together. He expressed his desire to experience this camaraderie once more by working with Blake.
