As a die-hard fan of both comic book movies and football, I can’t help but marvel at Ryan Reynolds’ multifaceted career! The man is not only breaking box office records with Deadpool & Wolverine, but he’s also diving headfirst into the world of sports as an owner of Wrexham A.F.C. It’s like he’s found a secret formula to combine my two greatest passions!
Ryan Reynolds is primarily recognized for his role as Deadpool, and the recent addition to this popular comic book series is continuing its success at the box office. The film Deadpool & Wolverine has shattered numerous box office records, including being the highest-grossing R-rated movie ever made. This weekend, it’s predicted that the movie will once again lead all other films in earnings. Apart from acting, Reynolds is also a co-owner of the football club Wrexham A.F.C, alongside Rob McElhenney from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Although McElhenney’s appearance in Deadpool & Wolverine was removed, a player from Wrexham, Paul Mullin, featured as Welshpool. Reynolds recently disclosed that Welshpool can be seen at the St?K Cae Ras Stadium today.
The Wrexham AFC season has started off well! If you drop by the St. K Cae Ras Stadium, you’ll catch a glimpse of WELSHPOOL proudly displayed in the Centenary Club. Reynolds shared on Instagram that he is grateful to Marvel for welcoming a new WELSH Deadpool Corps member into their film and for overlooking the suit mysteriously appearing on The Racecourse Ground in Wrexham, with seemingly no regard for rules or regulations. During our recent visit, we unintentionally revealed WelshPool in his freshly set up home at the stadium. It turns out that I was just as taken aback as everyone else to find it there.

In the Marvel Studios production titled “Deadpool & Wolverine“, Deadpool, portrayed by Ryan Reynolds, and Wolverine, played by Hugh Jackman, are set to alter the course of the Marvel Cinematic Universe together.
