Deadpool & Wovlerine: Ryan Reynolds Shares Heartwarming Post Amid Box Office Success

As a long-time Marvel fan with over two decades of comic book collecting under my belt, I must say that the latest blockbuster, Deadpool & Wolverine, has truly outdone itself. The second weekend at the box office is nothing short of impressive, and it’s not every day we see such a phenomenal performance from our favorite anti-heroes.

During its second weekend in theaters, the movie featuring Deadpool and Wolverine continues to rule the box office, showing strong potential for a top 5 second weekend performance among Marvel films and an overall ranking within the top 8. In honor of the third installment’s release, star Ryan Reynolds has been quite active on social media. Today, he shared his most touching message yet on Instagram, celebrating the success of Deadpool and Wolverine at the box office and expressing gratitude to fans and everyone involved in making the Deadpool films a reality. Additionally, he posted some intriguing behind-the-scenes shots from all three Deadpool movies.

“Over the past nine years, we’ve had the pleasure of working on this project. To think that ten years ago, these extraordinary second-weekend figures would have seemed like our opening weekend numbers – it’s almost unbelievable! The way #DeadpoolAndWolverine has taken over is hard to grasp, it’s as if it’s happening to someone else. Regardless, creating these movies has been an incredible amount of fun. I can’t help but reminisce a bit about the journey.”

“There are way too many people who’ve made pivotal creative contributions to list, but obviously my long time co-writers, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (without whom there would be no Deadpool movie) Tim Miller, Mr David Leitch (who also made Fall Guy – one of the best of the summer films), 20th Century Fox, George Dewey and Kevin Feige. Last on the list but first in my heart: my creative, spiritual (and damn near literal) brothers, Shawn Levy and Hugh Jackman,” he continued.
