Deadpool's Daughters Carry on the Family Business Before His Untimely Death (Exclusive)

As a longtime Deadpool fan who has weathered through countless twists and turns in Wade Wilson’s chaotic life, I can confidently say that the latest development in his comics is both intriguing and nerve-wracking. The prospect of Deadpool’s death, especially with the success of the recent Deadpool & Wolverine film, feels like a cruel joke from the Marvel Universe.

Marvel is introducing readers to both of Deadpool’s daughters prior to one of them stepping into the role of the Merc With a Mouth following his demise. It might sound unusual to eliminate Wade Wilson given the rising popularity of Deadpool & Wolverine, but it’s important to note that the sole Marvel film released this year has been instrumental in shifting Marvel’s negative image. Fans should also consider Deadpool’s comic book exploits, where a new adversary named Death Grip pushed him to his breaking point and even managed to suppress his healing factor, severely injuring our anti-hero. However, before death arrives, let’s explore how his children fare when they inherit the family business of mercenary work.

In an exclusive sneak peek, ComicBook showcases Deadpool #6 penned by Cody Ziglar, illustrated by Rog? Ant?nio, colored by Guru-eFX, and lettered by VC’s Joe Sabino. This issue highlights Deadpool’s family, including his symbiote dog-daughter named Princess and his human daughter Ellie, who possesses her father’s healing factor but not the cancer that affected him. The two team up to eliminate some weapon smugglers, with Ellie donning the Deadpool suit we saw on the cover of Deadpool #7. Reminiscent of her father, she delivers a powerful drop kick to one of the bad guys, and demonstrates her healing factor by shrugging off a blaster shot to the shoulder without any skin damage.

In the ensuing confrontation, it’s revealed that Ellie and Princess find themselves in a tight spot. Since Deadpool has imposed a “No Killing” rule on Ellie, they must think outside the box if they wish to escape this clash unscathed.
