Death in Paradise star gives verdict on how Neville and Zoe’s storyline ended

As a long-time fan of Death in Paradise, I must say that watching Ralf Little’s character Neville Parker’s journey has been a rollercoaster ride! From his initial arrival to St. Marie, through his romantic entanglements, and finally his departure, it’s been an emotional ride.

In the latest episode of Death in Paradise, Neville Parker, played by Ralf Little, experienced a joyful conclusion to his storyline. He set sail with Florence towards uncharted territories under the warm glow of the setting sun.

Prior to this, there was a slightly uncertain romantic incident in his life. Unbeknownst to him, the lady he had been interacting with through his blog’s comments turned out to be his former girlfriend, Zoe, who unexpectedly appeared in St Marie to reconnect with him.

She continued: “It was a very quick turnaround, less than a week! I hadn’t watched the show before and did not know what a huge fan base it has! It was so lovely.

“The sand on the beach was scorching hot, it felt like I had stepped onto flames! As I attempted to film this specific scene with Ralf, my mind kept wandering to the thought of escaping the heat by dashing towards the sea and plunging in to refresh myself.”

Atwal shared that she wasn’t aware in advance about her role in Little’s last season and the plot surrounding his departure. She also expressed her thoughts on how the characters of Neville and Zoe’s storyline were developed.

She remarked, “She had quite a bit of self-assurance in approaching him, and he handled it rather gracefully, given the situation.” In my opinion, he attempted to soften the blow as much as possible. She spent some pleasant days with him trying to resolve things, but unfortunately, it didn’t work out.

Now streaming in its entirety on BBC iPlayer, Atwal’s latest production titled “Daddy Issues” features David Morrissey and Aimee Lou-Wood in the roles of a father and daughter.

In December, Death in Paradise is coming back with a festive special episode. Don Gilet has been added to the team as the new main detective.

The popular show, “Death in Paradise,” is coming back at Christmas! If you haven’t seen it yet or want to catch up, the previous seasons are accessible for streaming on BBC iPlayer.
