Fragile – Léa Seydoux

In this production, we have the welcome return of Léa Seydoux, who will once again embody the character known as Fragile. Renowned for her portrayals in films such as Spectre and No Time to Die as Bond girl Madeline, and Lady Fenring in Dune, as well as Emma in Blue Is the Warmest Colour.

Higgs Monaghan – Troy Baker

Following his role as Indy in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Troy Baker reappears as the ruthless antagonist Higgs. Now a well-established figure in gaming, he has also lent his voice to Joel in The Last of Us, Booker DeWitt in BioShock Infinite, and Sam Drake in Uncharted.

Dollman – Jonathan Roumie

In a straightforward manner: Dollman, fittingly named so, is a puppet that hangs from Sam’s belt during his journeys. This character, modeled after Turkish-German director Fatih Akin, is both voiced and motion-captured by Jonathan Roumie, who portrayed Lonnie Frisbee in Jesus Revolution and Jesus Christ himself in The Chosen.

Tarman – George Miller (Model) / Marty Rhone (Voice)

George Miller, the renowned Australian director famed for Mad Max, serves as inspiration for Tarman, the pilot of the DHV Magellan in Death Stranding 2. Notably, Marty Rhone, who voices Tarman, is recognized primarily for his role as the narrator in Street Fighter 6, and has made sporadic appearances in Harrow, Wentworth Prison, and The Doctor Blake Mysteries.

Rainy – Shioli Kutsuna

In the latest additions to our cast, Rainy – one of our fresh characters – is portrayed both visually and vocally by the talented Australian actress Shioli Kutsuna. Kutsuna might be familiar to you from her roles as Yukio in the Deadpool movies, Asuka Kunishima in Sanctuary, or Mitsuki Yamato in Invasion.

Tomorrow – Elle Fanning

It’s likely that you recognize Elle Fanning from various roles such as Aurora (Maleficent), Alice (Super 8), Sylvie (A Complete Unknown), or perhaps even from Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. Now, she’s joining the cast of Death Stranding 2, taking on the enigmatic character named Tomorrow.

Heartman – Nicolas Winding Refn (Model) / Darren Jacobs (Voice, performance capture)

In a different phrasing, the captivating character Heartman is patterned after the style of Danish filmmaker Nicolas Winding Refn, who is one of Kojima’s favorite directors. Refn is known for directing Drive, Pusher, and Bronson. The voice and motion capture for Heartman are supplied by Darren Jacobs, a versatile voice actor who has lent his talents to Castlevania: Nocturne, Starfield, Rebel Moon 2, No Rest for the Wicked, and DC Dark Legion.

The President – Alastair Duncan

Alastair Duncan steps into the part of the President in Death Stranding 2, giving a fittingly presidential portrayal. Known primarily for his roles, the Scottish actor has made a name for himself as Mimir in the contemporary God of War series, Celebrimbor in Shadow of Mordor, and notably Senator Armstrong in Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

Lucy – Alissa Jung

Actress Alissa Jung assumes the character of Lucy, a psychiatrist on Bridges. She might be unfamiliar to many, except for enthusiasts of German television and film. If you’re among them, then you may recognize her from A Matter of Life, The Emperor’s New Clothes, Zweisitzrakete, The Attack, and various other productions.

Neil – Luca Marinelli

In the trailers for Death Stranding 2, Luca Marinelli, Alissa Jung’s real-life partner, portrays and provides the voice for a character reminiscent of Solid Snake, who emerges from tar. On the set of Mary di Nazaret (Mary of Nazareth), he is most recognized in English for his role as Nicky in The Old Guard. However, he is more renowned in Italy for roles in Mussolini: Son of the Century and The Eight Mountains.

Doctor – Debra Wilson

Debra Wilson is a name that any dedicated gamer would recognize; she’s the renowned actress who portrays the Doctor character in Death Stranding 2. Her impressive gaming resume boasts roles such as Cere Junda from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Commander Thira in Doom: The Dark Ages, and Inquisitor Lödwyn in Avowed.

In addition to her work in gaming, she’s also been featured in numerous television shows and movies. She might be best recognized for being part of the initial cast of Mad TV.
