Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Allows Players to Skip Bosses

As a gamer, I can’t wait to dive into Kojima Productions’ next masterpiece, “Death Stranding 2: On the Beach.” It seems like it’s going to be a mind-blowing blend of various genres, from leisurely strolls and stealthy sneaks to deep open-world exploration and intricate crafting. Yet, unlike its predecessor, it looks like combat will play a significant role this time around. The intense battles, including the formidable B.T. boss fights, promise to keep me on my toes!

If that’s what they’re aiming for, of course. For those who prefer the storyline or aren’t proficient in combat, there’s an option to “eliminate” the fight without defeating the boss, as mentioned on the latest Koji10 radio broadcast (translation courtesy of Genki on Twitter).

The option to review a “battle summary” before proceeding appears in the Game Over screen, under the “Continue” button. Selecting this feature allows players to view both images and written descriptions of the previous battle before resuming gameplay. It’s unclear whether this feature is exclusive to Easy mode or accessible throughout the game. Additionally, it’s undetermined if any trophies are related to defeating bosses and how this might affect their unlocking.

The sequel to “Death Stranding,” titled “Death Stranding 2: On the Beach,” will be released on June 26th for PlayStation 5. Director Hideo Kojima announced that development is nearly finished, with only 5% remaining. Therefore, we can anticipate additional details and a confirmation of the game being ready for mass production in the near future.
