Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Features Renowned Train to Busan Actor

Kojima Productions has a knack for incorporating popular actors, filmmakers, and personalities in the game Death Stranding, and this trend continues with Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. Notably, it includes actor and producer Ma Dong-seok. In a recently released trailer, Dong-seok revealed that he will make a guest appearance in the game. Additionally, he shared how director Hideo Kojima reached out to him years ago following his viewing of one of Dong-seok’s films.

His inclusion resulted in his character appearing in the subsequent film, where he portrayed a porter. However, he reassured fans that they had nothing to fear from him. Born in South Korea, Dong-seok is recognized for movies like “The Neighbor” and “Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time”, but gained widespread recognition following the phenomenal success of “Train to Busan”. Since then, he has acted in “The Outlaws” and Marvel Studios’ “Eternals”.

On June 26th, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach debuts exclusively for PS5 systems. This game will also be compatible with the PlayStation 5 Pro console, although specific upgrades have not been specified as of now. The concluding trailer is set to premiere simultaneously and showcases 180 shots that reveal fresh details.
